Leveling Question

My friend really wants to reach 65 as he is tired of doing the same quests over and over. I decided to help him on new characters but none of our accounts are unfortunately eligible for a buddyup code. I cannot afford a level 60 scroll and we cannot afford elite.
How long is it going to take us to reach 65 and what would be the best way to do it?

  • you can try spam dungeon or kuma battleground, its fastest to level i know so far ( to me takes 2-1 days to hit 65 without kumams battleground expect spamming dungeon over and over yes it does get boring after while)

You can get codes from New Players forum section.

I'm pretty sure we need to wait 30 days, no?

Just have him spam dungeons. No need to repeat quests. Dungeons still give a LOT of experience. And if he's onto silly pvp, the kumas battleground (where you play as a kumans) also gives a lot of exp.
  • I would say a day in dungeons if you buy an exp boost. Make sure he is equipping the right crystals for damage if he is dps (focused/savage/pounding/bitter-spiteful), and everything will go smoothly.

If there's nothing invested on their account just make a new one to use the buddy up code, you could as well since there's benefits from a monetary standpoint that could be transferred to your main account anyways. Afterwards you would just start doing dungeons from level 20.

Someone told me in my guild that I'd have to wait 30 days before being eligible for a buddyup, didn't know that you could get one right away with a new one. T_T

You have to be inactive on your main, to use it on your main. Although, if you and your friend create an entirely new account you'll be free to use the codes since it's a new account. This is assuming your friend is new to Tera and has nothing of value on their account though.

If you've never used the BuddyUp before, then you will be able to use it right away even if you've already leveled a character without it, just create a new character and apply the BuddyUp before it reaches lvl 10. But yes, if you've already used BuddyUp, you must not log in on any character on that server for a month for it to reset.

Creating an entirely new account if I am not wrong is against the ToS. Soooo yeah.

No, it's not. At least if your first account is not banned. If you are in good standing, you can create more than one account. What you can't do is sharing a single account between multiple persons.

I personally made a full f2p account mostly to test how playable the game was without having founder nor elite benefits. I have 2 65s there.
