TR Server Population

2 years ago played on AV server endgame hardcore guild
Was always told how much better TR was.
Google says same thing gg
Presently, TR is noticeably listed as recommended.

TR is more populated than AV or so you say...well EME says its dead labeled Recommended #UnlikelyToExpQs


Anecdotal:
To me it appears not many are doing endgame content & not enough new players are coming in to replace the old, which is understandable RNG. On AV server, yes during WH/ ABHM days, LFGs would go up to 3-4+ pgs. You could find a party for any dungeon at any hour even WH. After wipe just like in guild runs pugs didn't quit per say this quickly. Fast forward 2 years later I can say right now that the AV server of 2 years ago was definitely MORE active than today's TR server. On TR rarely any ABHM, WH, or DFHM LFGs just SSHM//MM/ skilled only and WTS.

I would actually like to hear some insight as to the current state of TR population. No memes or regurgitated comments from ppl who don't even play on the server, but still say gg TR most populated PVE. I mean an actual explanation as to why TR activity is so low when it used to be High and regarded as the 1st or 2nd best PVE server. The experience so far has been great joined a guild, but at same time a bunch of WTS is not my idea of being active. After summer is almost over, I can only assume it will get worse when people go back to their routine. TR is no longer "High" for a reason. I recall when EME tricked me into joining AV 2 years ago. At the time, it too was labeled recommended, 1st on suggestions, and considered a low population server. I also recall how the top 3 guilds kept changing because core members would transfer to MT or TR. TBH only lasted long on AV cuz I got accepted into an endgame no life Hardcore PVE guild that yes had stupid requirements like VM or GTFO, yes those guilds :P

Jokes aside, this is no laughing matter as I'm starting to see many similarities between AV 2014 and the current TR.

Nobody wants to run ABHM or WH, those dungeons are old news and boring. If anyone runs ABHM, its for the crusade. TR is still te most populated, despite the recommended tag.

Most likely because LoT, AV and HW are gonna be merged, so they try to avoid leading new people into making accounts in those servers. Amongst TR, MT and CH, TR is the most general server with good population size.

TR has good population. Not the best but not dead. As for LFG, since patch was already a few months ago, those who would go for real end game stayed farming only the top stuff, so you will see only LFG for top end and asking for skilled only, since those who were going to get skilled in the top dungeons already are. I'd assume the middle tier dungeons are not run much already because they give too little return to high tier players but are still too hard for casuals, who might be happier running NM dungeons through IMS.

That's at least how I see it. Been on TR and only on TR since I was moved there through all the merges and splits Tera has had. I'm originally from Blightwood, a pre-f2p server.

I haven't played on any other servers so I don't really have a comparison but I feel like there is a good population on TR. At peak hours the LFG page will be full, if not a little into the 2nd page. Even when there isn't much posted in LFG however, I'll just start one and I always get a full group within 15 min so current LFG activity isn't always conducive to the server's active player base.

Well yeah I'll stick around, but the overall exp. just very different from what I expected to be "Best PVE" server.
I'd expect to see iunno more alts while lvling up, more lfgs, no ghost towns, no low ch
That's what I experienced on AV didn't think the exp. be so similar.

As for Teras best years, as I recall ppl hated WH and the DPS checks VM grind for ABHM.
Vets did constantly brag about how much better game was MCHM initial release prior f2p.

LoT, VoT and HW.

AV is only inside because of potential server transfers.

and even the guilds on TR aren't welcoming, as they only run in their statics and ignore other guildees. Maybe I need to transfer to AV.

TR has some of the highest skilled players in PVE. Most of the ppl who write guides are on the TR server. The population is great. Although I have only ever been on the HW server, so TR was a night and day difference. Come to TR to git gud :P

it's not insecure or salty to think thst fellow guildees would say "hi" when I log in and greet them. I ask for guild runs, and *crickets*. I am a skilled player with +15 full starfall and I keep joining guilds that are full of elitist snobs who only want to run with their statics. why bother being in a guild?

It has nutin to do w/ git gud I'm just trying to understand the server.

• One thread says TR will teach you and gear requirement not that strict.
• This thread says TR ppl are very Elitist and only run with statics.
• Other threads say LFG in AV dead and only the top guild does endgame
• Here ppl saying AV more welcoming.

Hence the confusion for any newcomer like me.
Regardless I decided to stay on TR since too lazy to lvl up a character/ deal with RNG grind

Just play on MT. There's less circlejerking about stupid [filtered] and more in the lfg. Even if you don't like open world PvP, it's still a better server for just about everything.
