I'm a old timer and just return back to Tera NA again recently. When i see this is kinda sad and doesn't know how long this game could survive.

*TERA Europe (Gameforge) [MASSIVE SERVER MERGE on this coming 30 of August] [SURVIVING]

6 server into 2. Sound deadly.
  • To me the main problem of TERA is its difficulty to keep new players. To my mind, what makes newbies kick the game is the difficulty to get a good enchanted gear.
I really think a good measure to try keep more newbies playing the game would be give to all new lvl 65 a full +12 low end gear.

PC gaming not popular n Japan

finding a niche within a niche is surviving em no.......

Only 2 versions that matter/ prob makes up 95% of all earned revenue is NA and Ktera
Either way, I don't understand why its not a success in China
These no life grind games right up der alley

It is a major shift from MMORPG to MOBA, notably the huge advertisement of LOL and huge competition from Tencent-branded MMORPG.

Never been sure what these kinds of threads are meant to achieve. I'd understand them if the poster backed it up with well thought ideas on what he thinks the problems are and what he thinks the solutions could be. Constructive criticism. But in the end, if the game is going to die, it dies, we move on, end of story. It's not a big deal. games come and go. No need to get all jumpy about it. Just enjoy while they last and when it ends, move along to the next, or go out there and enjoy life out of gaming for awhile. :3
