What graphical settings should I turn down to reduce lag
I don't want my game to look like runescape but I do want it to not have tons of lag so I can see what I'm doing. What are the most nessesary graphical settings to reduce in order to optimize gaming performance on my laptop?
My laptop is a couple year old HP Pavillion, but while it does run Tera on the '4' preset for graphics it does not run it well, trying to spin around in a panoramic survey of my surroundings it gets hella bad lag. When too many other characters are on screen it's really slow and laggy and I can't see what's going on, people's textures won't load and it's just bad.
But if I turn the graphics all the way down it really does look unbearable, I want it to be fast but I still want it too look like Tera. What are the main things to adjust so I can reduce lag but still have things look normal.
