Zerk PvP Guide?
I recently got back into Zerk but the only guides I see for PvP are back in 2014 and 2015. Is there an updated PvP guide anywhere? :<

Filled with more tears and salt than MT can ever hope to muster.
You have to be willing to take a hit or two and have to pick your moments well. You're going to suffer a lot and be frustrated a lot.
The old guides pretty much still apply. There's just new skills to go with it.
Alot of people say zerks are low tier in PVP. In my opinion, this is not true... they excel at small scale battles, such as, 3v3, 1v1s.
The point is helping others learn the class. Even if it is "pointless", I'd still like to get back into Zerk and become moderate with it. :v
Zerk at PvP you have to be going through your opponents sides a lot. Another useful gap closer would be Overwhelm -> Raze (from behind the opponents back) then following up with a Thunderstrike it's a tactic that's hard to block and happens very quick only a few Berserkers do it, It's a very underrated tactic from most Berserkers. Most Elin Berserkes always stagger lock from the front thinking they'll exploit your block. Way to break that Stagger Lock is if you hit them with the 1st tick of Punishing Strike then auto-cancelling the animation of Punishing Strike with Axe Block it's a guaranteed way to break many stagger locks from Elin Stagger Locks or the 1st hit of Shield Barrage when you're dueling a Lancer because Punishing Strike itself casts insanely fast your opponent wont have time to react all these skills are all underrated and I don't see many Berserkers using them. I play Defensive Stance because it has lower CDs and has more ways of outmaneuvering your opponents. When you're dueling always save your important skills like Triumphant Shout / Tenacity when you duel against other classes like Warrior, Lancer, Ninja cause they have stun skills. Predicting a backstab or leash takes skill but not saying is impossible.
This tactic I have used when I duel against zerks when they're playing that blocking game so you have to make that move first and since Punishing Strike skates you forward you'll land on his back and able to Raze through his back and chain with TS for a KD.
This is how you can break stagger locks with Punishing Strike since it's cast time is insanely fast and can be cancelled with Axe Block you can exploit the stagger lock despite the fact you're stuck in stagger lock animation since it's a fast casting skill like I said. And I play on 80-100 ping and was able to escape stagger locks from players who play on 30-50 ping. Punishing Strike is underrated that many DStance Zerks don't really use and realize it's potential as it's faster than Raze if you properly learn how to cancel the animation. This is a common mistake most amateur elin zerks make is Stagger Locking like that in the video is not a good idea when dueling against DStance Zerks. This is what I've spoke with @thekor AKA Depore a few days back that's a terrible way of engaging. Stagger Locking only works if you're dueling beginner zerks that don't know to break it so instead of doing that basic strategy go around your targets and not hit through the front.
Another great tactic that many Berserkers don't use is this. Hard to predict and about 100% of the chance you'll get them through the back. Takes practice to get it right so keep in mind. In order to land that combo out you'll have to be in close proximity of 7-10m away from your target the farther you are it won't really work and you'll end going through his block which is not good as Elins are known for breaking blocks if you go right through. Always aim for the sides (left or right) most weakspots are usually on the left for most players. I got this idea from when I played my Lancer. Works great with Zerk.
Mocking Shout since it staggers it can be immediately applied with raze for an additional stagger to chain with TS for that KD. Or you can use Mocking Shout -> Flatten.
These combos work great for 3s. Not to be used in duels since it's a BM skill and gives you an advantage.
Mocking Shout -> Raze -> Thunder Strike
Mocking Shout -> Flatten
Also another skill that some korean guy showed in a stream than most people started doing it basically you charge a skill (ts) then use evasive smash then tap cyclone only for astance tho. Works good on elins. You could also swap from Astance to Dstance if you'd like during combat I seen some zerks dish a combo out which was crazy. Also learning to fearsome shout when a person is about to retal is a good trick too.
Another thing to keep in mind is your retaliate knowing when to save it. If you see your opponent far away don't use it let your self get up and don't risk blowing up your retal. It's bad habits like this that get you locked in a KD Chain. Put your retal in a hotkey where you're able to monitor your CD of retal. Fearsome shout is good if you're dueling against a person who insta retals because right when you KD you can use it as soon as he retals to fear him to kd lock them.
For DStance this is my glyph page I experimented around and this is what suits me the best.
The point here was to put these up as the thread creator wanted some guides (no salt/elitism intentions) I just learned these tricks from seeing good players duel, I don't play tera that much anymore as I work now. Simply wanted to share a guide to people who don't know these tactics as they never were put in guides simply we can just say these are very underrated tactics as you don't see many use them. Yeah this works on 1 vs 1 doubt it might work in large scale or 3 vs 3 since DStance was made for only 1 vs 1 elins should only play astance. And that Mocking Shout works fine the way I put it up. Mocking Shout -> Raze -> TS or Mocking Shout -> Flatten. I've seen some good zerks do this combo perfectly if i can remember that would be Sessh who uses these combos a lot during duels or in 3s and they work great. Reason why I say stagger locking the way you do is bad when you're holding block a lancer or a good warrior or a good zerk who knows what they're doing can counter it these are all bad habits.
Depore, why are you always so salty for me trying to help out new people?
If not that then you're looking to take down groups which have been giga'd but have no retal. KD locking is a must.
Most guides are just teaching you what each skill does. It's up to you to learn how to fight each class.
Famous saying. You can bring a horse to the water but you can't make it drink.
I main brawler and while I'm considered by people to be good at it or in some cases scary lmao. I'll never consider myself to be the best. There's always room for improvements.
Besides being called good and scary can go to your head if ur not careful.
So getting the most out of zerl or brawler can be rough sometimes. But I work with it.
That's because I don't play Elin. I play Human Male. My disadvantage to why I can't pick up to a different play style and why you say that I play the same is because the animation speed for Human Male - Auto Attack is very slow while the Eiin Auto pushes you forward while you can raze you can create some neat combos. And autoing like an Elin always backfires on me. The reason why I picked up that Punishing Strike technique is a replacement of an auto attack as it's too cheesy to stagger as a Human Male Zerk and way to slow compared to Elins and it's a fast casting skill so that's why I use it helped me stop cheesy stagger lock attempts from facerolled players who like to auto through blocks, I think I already told you that pushing offensively as a Male Zerk towards an Elin is a bad idea because Elins being so small they can go around you easier and get inside your block after they retaliate so instead I've developed the habit of rolling back when dueling Elins. And I only play like that against Zerks/Brawlers/Warriors/Lancers as you have to be ready to block leash or any stun or that cancerous ground pound by Brawlers so you have to be going from all directions when dueling Brawlers hence why I think that Overwhelm combo is really great when dueling these specific classes after you've successfully baited their Stuns/CCs. And when I duel you there's no need for me to change my fighting style as I already know your tactic as you keep falling for my block baits (Auto to oblivion pray that it breaks your targets block) and you... said 'constantly moving around' reason why you're very easy to beat in duels is because you can't maintain pressure and you're always giving people space to roll out and repeat that Overwhelm Combo or the same Lancer Combo even Warriors. If you're goal is to be good at 1 vs 1 then constantly be going around your target leaving him clueless that his block is just utterly useless as you're going around him. You mentioned struggle I'd think anyone will struggle if they don't duel a class constantly. All classes there's never enough combos or never enough strategies/tactics. Common sense Depore there's really no need to be biased on Ennokks or who evers play style if you struggle to beat them lol.
But 9/10 times I've duelled zerks they've popped everything at the start and if you can kite or survive long enough then it's goodnight zerker. Ground pound is pretty OP but I have to say it's the only giga brawler has now. If we can't keep you in the air then we're gonna struggle regardless. Which reminds me. I need to watch Aveon some more. Damn good brawler.
