You guys aren't looking at it from other's perspectives! This is why I left PvP servers to begin with. Everyone's for themselves!

Looking at it from your perspective, you seem awfully salty about something so drastic as a server merge, yet you barely bothered to go hunting for information about it. The server merge info and discussion has been pinned to the forums and discussed extensively in-game and in forums for WEEKS. Where were you when all of this was going on?

If your network of friends isn't enough to provide you up-to-date information on the game you're playing, you need to find some better friends, or utilize the forums. Resources exist everywhere.

Now, I haven't read this thread in its entirety because it sounds like you keep regurgitating the same complaints over and over. What exactly about a PVP65 server rubs you in the wrong way? Is it just because people can participate in OWPVP now and you're uncomfortable? The OWPVP at 65 has also been EXTENSIVELY DISCUSSED, and if you search through the forums a little, you'll find a ton of threads with great arguments about why OWPVP will NOT bother PVE-focused players.

TL;DR Please read the many many server merge discussion threads before complaining about it after it's happened.

Not everyone who plays the game spends much time, if any, on the forums. I was never informed of this discussion until today. On top of that, I'm looking out for my guild and my friends. You can look at it as your flippant self, favoring the side who like this merge. Or you can see that ppl who are physically unable to enjoy this change have been screwed over. We can't leave if we cant take our character slots, bank slots and bank inventory with us. We didn't choose for it to be moved to Fey Forest. The least they could do is give us the option to move it all to AV.

You do have the option to move everything to AV once free server transfer become available.
  • @Ginjitsu I don't think you can take used bank slots, used char slots, or used wardrobe slots with you xD

Idk about the four free char slots if left unused though

those were after the merge was formally announced. Still ex post facto.

I play on a PvE server. For a couple of months, I played on MT. I can tell you that never saw anyone when I would go outside HW. If I did, I just went the other way. It's not that hard to avoid OWPvP. If you have such a problem with learning to avoid pvp then transfer to AV.

Its not that simple. If it were, I'd have no problem. I have a guild to take care of, we don't get to transfer our character slots, bank slots or bank inventory. How would you feel if your home no longer felt safe and you're only choices were to stay or leave behind all you've worked hard for? Look at things from other ppl's perspectives. There's no compromise in this. There's just ppl who get screwed and ppl who don't care!

no offense dude, but you are the worst drama queen i've ever seen. as i commented on many threads, people had month and a half from announcement to free transfer period. that's more than enough time to create character on AV, make gold for character slots and bank expansions. so your whole guild could do so and transfer to AV without big drama.

@QKumber94 here's the link to the thread posted towards the end of July, when they first introduced the merge idea.

    http://forums.enmasse.com/tera/discussion/4892/are-you-on-highwatch-lake-of-tears-or-valley-of-titans-please-read-and-give-feedback/p1

That's irrelevant at this point. It wasn't mentioned in a way that everyone outside the forums would hear about it. Had they made a server announcement or something so everyone involved would at least know it existed when it mattered, it might be different.

Saying "no offense" has no meaning when you disrespect what someone has to say. And have you seen the prices on broker? there wasn't time.

i find it very hard to believe that your so-called "guild and friends" that you're making constant efforts to look after have never made a single mention of it to you.

but if they really haven't, maybe it's time to find new ones!

What are you...5? This was discussed demultiplexing times on global ajf with other people..[filtered] not Just global EVEEERYWHERE

I'm a busy guy who gets to play for a limited period of time and I have global muted because its nothing but cancer. Like I said. Had they done a server announcement to make it abundantly known, it'd be different
  • Oh shut the [filtered] up plyss...
We had around 150 people in highwatch and 70 ish in velika outskirts.
    broker prices are decent!
Yesterday i did my gathering and my dailies , no pk players!! u are just lying on the forums -____-
At the end in open world u won't even find a player who will pk u or u must be a [filtered] lowbie!!!!
and a lowbie has nothing to say about this, cuz u don't even kno how the game works!!

These are my friends. They're still relatively new to the game. Some Didn't even know the forums existed. Maybe before you make assumptions, you should look through the thread and see I previously answered the same question.
  • GMs also visited each server to get information, though I've missed that because of time zones. That thread is fairly relevant to your point - the idea was suggested over a month ago, and there were additional threads made by players discussing it after the original was locked. I'm fairly sure there were also talk about throughout the server as well, but you've said you keep global muted. Maybe there were talks of it in the Velika area chat, I know there was some discussion in the Highwatch area chat.

I'm in agreement with @ThoseWhoStrive - if your current network didn't have the latest information at the time, it may be a good idea to expand your social circle a little. At least have someone who knows someone who may have the latest news from the forums if you and your guild mates can't be bothered with it.

That said, the merge is done already. Neither my guild mates nor my friends were caught unprepared (we even farmed buddy codes). You have from the 9th until the 13th, I believe, to decide if you want to stay on Fey Forest or move to Ascension Valley for free. Best of luck c:

Many people of both the PvP and PvE side of this are disappointed.
and how is this not an assumption? please practice what you preach.
