Can't send gold ?!

i tried sending 500g to a friend and couldnt.
got a system message : "standard accounts can't send parcels with 10 gold or more"

what what?!

    You can't send more than 10g in a letter if you're a free to player. You'll have to have your buddy stand next to you and you can trade it to them directly with no problem. (Honestly that's better anyway, since I'm pretty sure the cost of sending a letter goes up when you dump lots of gold into it. Why should you pay for fantasy shipping when you can teleport to your friend and hand it to them? ^^ )
