Returning Player need help/tips

So I stopped playing around Fate of Arun and I haven't really kept up with anything. My guild is dead and I got 0 friends on Tempest Reach. I am already lvl 65 but I'm pretty sure my gear is garbage at this point with all the gear power creeping. So I only have discovery mw +12 and some previous accessories like rivertrill. What should I do to catch back up in gear? Also was there any significant changes I should be aware about?

    Find a group that can run you through DFNM (Demokron's Factory Normal Mode), if lucky, 1 or 2 runs will get you a full set of Slaughter (current mid tier). For some changes, there's new classes and changes done to other classes along with some big changes for Sorc coming soon. Guilds also recieved an update today, although TR has been down. When ever it is up and you're on feel free to add or pm Advocate.Yamazuki, Lady.Yamazuki, or Agent.Yamazuki as those are most likely what I will be on and I should be able to help you get starting gear and accessories along with answer any other specific questions.

    Also on average how much would it cost to start funding these new sets to mw +12 cuz I'm not sure on the prices anymore

    The ilvl only matters to use IMS or to complete the VG, to enter the instance it doens't matter. So if you found a group either people you know or from LFG it is fine.

    You can +9 them using the same pieces, it's 100% up to +8 and to +9 it is 50%. To MW and then get to +12 is completely RNG so it's difficult to say how much it would cost. Although, feedstock and alk are much lower than what they were before at least.
