ty @TWMagimay your information helped me get everyone in guild to 1k points before using distribute, im not sure if it changed since you did it but the 30% is not a set amount, you can slide between 20-40%, i didnt take the time to do the math but i think the tax on it at 40% was only 10% because we had 68XX funds and after distrubing we had 34XX so seems like it was an even 50%, also to answer my own question (just incase anyone else was curious) contribution points do NOT reset after distributing even though they do determine a persons % received, so as long as you hit the 1k cap you will always get max gold from distribution :)

What guild level? When I did it, the slider went between 15% and 30%(didn't try to type in a number though).
My only questions left about this system are:
-When does the distribute feature reset? is it a set day/time or is it an internal timer of 7days after using it?
-Do contribution points perhaps reset each week when the distribute time resets?
obviously the second question is going to take time to answer as it is still only the 4th day since the patch.

Both questions will need time. I suspect cp will reset after the fight today though. But we'll see tomorrow xD

lvl 8 and yes both will need time i just mentioned the second one because its more "wait and see" type info whereas if there was a date/time set for the distribute feature it could vary well be published already, But ill admit EME has been more and more vague with giving details on things like that xD

Im assuming CP must be reset at some point though and that is what the "0" is for in the 0(+xxxx) format, when they reset i assume all previously accumulated points roll over to the "0" to count Total CP. If this is the case then this could certainly replace the use of "last login time" to determine inactives, which is something many people have been concerned with so thats good news :)
  • Can someone explain to me how this tax works? I have yet to distribute, yet it seems to take out as fast as i earn.

Well, I distributed again yesterday and it still capped me at 30%. No idea how you managed to do 40%. Another thing I noticed...the guild leader gets 5 times more gold than members with equal contribution. Also, the CP "reset" apparently happens around the Civil Unrest and not when other stuff resets. It does add your previous contribution up in the first number though whether that matters in any way remains to be seen(would be weird if it did, it's probably just for head-patting rights).

    Necro from a year ago.

Anyway if anything helps @TWMagimay guild funds distribution cap is decided by the size of your guild.

All the large guilds I have distributed funds let me distribute from 30 to 50% of the guild funds and the only small one that I made distributions allow me to distribute from 10 to 30%, so I think medium size guilds can distribute from 20 to 40% of guild funds.
