    Tera does need new classes unless you want the game to die

    MMOs respond positively to new FOTM as their quaterly financial reports probably show

    I really doubt the next class will be a mage, because we've already have reaper and we are getting sorc revamp. Another mage now would be a bit much.
    I bet in something like a melee class or dps summoner for now.

    Sorcerers have some rly atrocious skill effects (I'm looking at you, fireblast) and thank god bhs took notice and gonna give some new fancy effects. I hope they will start to feel more like the mage class that you'd like to see. Overall sorcerers have a very versatile kit with lots of mobility and control abilities, big aoe nukes and with their tactical playstyle perfectly fit my own image of a mage class. Sadly, I haven't tried the mage classes in those other games, except bns, but force master was just point and click and shoot the same looking fire or ice spell and felt very underwhelming compared to tera's sorcerer.

    If we get another mage class I would like it to embrace some unique element and not just be ''better sorcerer''. Dark mage, elemental mage, necromancer and have a very different kit, maybe less mobile, but more deceptive with skills like time rewind (like ekko), self-clones, short invisibility, delayed effect spells.

    I hope they release the Elin Only Witch class soon, so many unnecesary people drop out from the game.
