How long does it take to lvl a priest to 65?

Comments

  • Depends on how many hours you spend a day leveling, if you are leveling alone or with tank/dps friend, using exp boosts or not, questing or mob grinding, if you do kumas daily or not. Could be a few days or a couple of weeks.
  • Like 8 hours with xp boss 100% + buddy up code another 100% exp buff just full dungeon as healer u got party easy

less than 12 hours if you're committed or have a tank friend to get instant pops

I've got a level 65 buffslave priest on every server, the first time I did it, it took about 2 weeks of intermittent grinding (that was over 2 years ago). Now, I can do it in about 8~12 hours of actual gameplay, and that's without doing dungeons for the most part. If you have a little bit of resources, you can get yourself a good innerwear (superior mana panties are really cheap right now) that makes you basically invincible until after level 20.

I do the Stepstone Isle quests as you have to do these in order to get your first free inventory expansion, then go directly to hyenas south of Crescentia, then Basilisks in Oblivion Woods. From there it's on to Ovoliths outside Sinestral Manor, mobs in Colossal Ruins then Desert Lightning Kumas in Aurum Road. Once you hit level 34, buy some Availlia armor and enchant it all to +9, ideally reroll it for damage reduction vs normal mobs. Start doing Saravash's Ascent (on your own), just killing the mobs at the start up to the first miniboss then reset and do it again, this will get you to level 40 in fairly short order.
At this point I usually go to Blessing Basin and kill patient Lithikumas, but at 41 you also have the option to queue for Necromancer's Tomb, which generally pops quite quickly. Either way, once you get your level 44 avatar weapon, head to Feral Valley and start killing Basilisks or Giants until you can queue for Golden Labyrinth. Once you hit level 50, buy yourself a new set of armor (probably with credits from winning Kumas Royale) and enchant+reroll it, as you'll be wearing this armor until you hit level 60.
After a run or two of GL you should be ready to tackle Akalath Warlords in Amena Quatla or just queue Saleron's Sky Garden. After the Warlords I go to Sienna Canyon and kill Trihorn Dracoloths, then Seeliewood and kill some more Lithikumas there. At about level 56 or 57 I would go to Thrallhold in Val Tirkai and kill the Nagas there until level 58~59, then Vale of Spires to kill Giants till 60 (while queuing for Kelsaik's Nest- one run of that, if it pops, will give you almost an entire level).

Once you hit level 60, just smash out the story quests, interpersed with Sabex and Macellarius runs and you'll be 65 in no time. You may have noticed that I basically do all the BAMs required for the Solo-Boss Conqueror title, which is entirely intentional- following the requirements for the title gives you a set goal for each area, once you're done killing 10 of each you can either grind a bit more or move onto the next. Having goals all along the way breaks up the monotony of the grind, instead of "I just want to be 65 already" it becomes "OK I need to kill 10 of these, then 10 of those then I can queue that dungeon and keep killing these things while I wait for it to pop" and so on.
