Double Drop & BG Power Hour this weekend (No CU:V)

Hey everyone,

So as you know, our Production team has been working with Bluehole this week to get to the bottom of our Civil Unrest: Velika troubles. After being caught off guard last Saturday, we decided to test fire the event Tuesday on a single server - Fey Forest. It didn’t launch, but our hope was that the server logs from that test would provide Bluehole with all the information necessary to track down the cause of the failure and ensure Civil Unrest: Velika would play out successfully on all servers this Saturday, October 8. Unfortunately, there are still questions that need answering. Because of that, we’re sorry to announce Civil Unrest: Velika is cancelled until further notice. Our investigation continues, and there will likely be additional test runs in the near future. The problem could be solved next week, but it wouldn’t be fair to you guys to make that promise until we at En Masse know things are functioning at 100%.

In the meantime…

A Double Drop event will be in effect for all TERA dungeons this weekend starting Friday, October 7 at 11 AM PDT and ending Monday, October 10 at 11 AM PDT. A Battleground Power Hour (double credit rewards) event will also be active during that time. We hope these make your TERA weekend more enjoyable while we continue working on the problems that arose with Guilded Age. Saying that, though, we do have other things up our sleeve for October, and there are other exciting events on the way that we’re very excited to tell you about. Look for multiple announcements hitting the TERA News page in the next couple weeks.


EDIT - A little clarification. This Power Hour will affect all Battlegrounds, granting double the normal amount of credits.

    Should just keep power hour and double drop until CU gets fixed. What's the point of turning it off if you can't even turn on CU

    What exactly is a "Battleground Power Hour"? Last time I remember it doubled the chances of diamonds, emeralds, sapphires, rubies, crowns and some other things like x2 points in CS. But since you removed that, is it just x2 credits if you win...? Does this effect Kumas Royale as well?
    Or... Is it just double BG Rep/Credits? I'd like to know...

    Pretty inexcusable honestly, its been two weeks and however long you've had since you've finished translating the patch to fix it and on top of other existing issues like the dragon mount procs, VM procs, and hurricane debuff proc not working, but I suppose that's to be expected since the content isn't working either.

    Power Hour just means 2x credit rewards from battlegrounds. I'd guess they mean every bg since they didn't specify one but would be nice to get a confirmation.

    Clarified my original post. The Double Drop is for all TERA dungeons regardless of level.

    There's no news post regarding double drop/credits on the launcher or the main tera page. People won't actually know unless they login or see the forums.

    @Spacecats Can we postpone Battleground Power Hours for next weekend and just have Dungeon Double Drop this weekend?
