How to gear alts?

Hello again people! Once again, I'm in need of your assistance guys.

As the title stated, how do i gear my alts? I only got one alt so far, a slayer and i just got her to lvl65 today so i'm wondering how do i get to gear her at least for doing VG quests? I asked around in game ( my guildmates) but they just gave vague answers but i get their general idea: full dreadnaught set is 'enough'?. so i just upgrade them to +12 and that's it? I'm kinda wondering what would my accessories, crystals, innerwear, etc. be. That's all i have for now, tnx again in advance for the replies ^^

  • What I did: Finish story for free keen vyrsks, dn to 12 with the tons of t8 materials accumulated in bank over time with main/other chars, suitable accessories for class with IoD/Tyrantblood tokens, and a metric ton of glyph boxes with undershade tokens.
Being a cheap [filtered], idoneal inners from the red KC quest, and as for crystals, whatever I currently happened to have in bank or practically free cruxes from broker.

More than enough to get you started with stuff worth doing.
  • well if you have alot of crystals you get from dfnm or dfhm or celestial arena give you dread and slaughter :> so if you farm those alot on your main you can get them easy

Same way you geared your main :expressionless:

  • For Atls, get Slaughter Gear +12, Blue innerwear, Appropiate Crystals, Vyrks, etc.
Slaughter Alts, will help u to be able to farm stuff on multiple vanguard quests. Dont neglect crafting. If you have 2 char only, Get etching first, on alt get Armorcrafting (Aterstod oils required for etching)

Accessories, Just get whatever u can find on dungeons, Shadow/Blood gate is enough. Remember that you may have about 4 weeks till new patch arrives. No need to waste resources on rolling perfect stats on alts.

For me, I''m storing all my tokens/shards/MWA/extra crystals/stuff like that for my alts that I get on my main char in my bank.

Depends on the alt vs your main, and whether your guild/friends help you. For instance, if you're a Lancer and want to gear a Berserker, when you're on Lancer you can just take the shoes/gloves people don't need and when you getone on Berserker you can use the shoes/gloves from Lancer to enchant the ones on Berserker until you run out. I've gotten some Slaughter to +11 using only gear enchant.

+12 DN will be okay. Keep your materials for upcoming patch.
As for the accessories try to get crit jewelry with unique version.

EDITED: @Ginjitsu already pasted the Gearing links form Essential Mana

And how exactly is your CC gonna help you in this matter? Afaik there's no one even selling dreadnaught, let alone these low-level accessoires.

Really? Where do you buy your gear with a credit card bro?
  • Here he jokes on it, which is not also entirely a joke and some knights get restless and starts their attacks, Relax it wasn't so serious, keep your defending for other shits.
  • alright thnk you people for all the replies so far. altho i'm wondering where can i get those keen vyrks? I mean as what @idx pointed out, i get em from finishing story quest. Do i get it after i finish 'ALL' story quests or just finishing a specific story quest? (ex. free flying mount from finish a certain story quest) if it is, may i know the name or lvl of that quest?

So ideally(for starters), dreadnaught +12 set, is enough to get my alts sufficient enough to farm IoD bams. I might upgrade em later to slaughter once i get my hands on a lot of slaughter boxes (if they're tradeable). Of course, anyone is still welcome to add some more advice for gearing alts. Thanks again everyone ^^

You need to finish 60-65 story line quest including beating Dakuryon on the last mission. Upon completion and reached 65 the green crit crystal will be parcel you automatically.
