You guys really aren't good at spacing out content :| The current patch has only been out like 2 weeks and already the next update is announced. Should delay it like 2-3 more months.

what the heck? you were talking about new content, they are giving new content and you complain about it too? :eh:

We just had a patch 2 weeks ago........ I was talking about events not content.

Content is better than event, they are always there. I know why players say it is soon, the bugs and glitches, but actually, each 2 weeks something new coming is a routine for many games.

From what i read so far, there is nothing EME can do really about spacing out content. If they wait for a decent amount of the playerbase to be properly geared for the new raid (Full Imperator +15 or Ambush +15) they will annoy the ones who beat the crowd and got thir ambush +15 within days of the patch release. If they release it too early, it may come with even MORE bugs, many more than what it can come on official release. EME is not the one who decide when to apply the build, is BHS. They send the build from their client to the rest of the publishers, and the publisher all it does is QA test it, localize it and translate it. They have no control over the deadline of release. As soon as the build is ready, it has to launch in that region. Take for example what happened with the dragons. EME wanted to release them with a good system to obtain em in game, yet they were delayed because of BHS. Finally after a long wait, the dragons were released, with a system that EME did not liked, cause it was what BHS decided it was better.
So you see, in the end, only BHS has the final word. There is nothing EME as a publisher can do to change it.
  • ktera got this content like 3 months ago, and with this patch we almost close the gap between their content and ours, which I think is good.

There still a lot of bugs from previous builds to be fixed
there is also quite a whole bunch of small and bigger bugs that ppl posted in bug section many of them are ancient ones.
Yeah, the missing "hits" counter, profile presets/save controls disappearing, if you're interacting with UI and gets in combat with the new UI combat auto hide config the cursor bugs.

What about the 25% Damage increase of Penetrating Arrow and Radiant Arrow?
It's just an preview, let's wait the full patch notes? Just a tip, they bring even the know issues from kTera, why this kind of change will not come?

So, we're getting a new dungeon. Does that also mean they're going to push out new gear with this update too? :(

No. This new raid is once a week only, not meant for gear progression.

Actually, it will push VM8 into VM8.5, a re-work/re-smithing of the previous one (VM8). Its said that VM8.5 will be the best option for 4th Phase of 30man raid.

Other than VM8.5, no new gear.

There's a new brooch that lasts longer, and a new tier of etching that is only from the raid I believe.

That's basically been the stated goal all year: to reduce the delay between K-TERA and other regions. Everyone should keep in mind the 30-person raid was released in K-TERA just 5 weeks after they got the Spellbound dungeons (3 weeks after they got the one HM which we got at the same time), so it's not like it's being released any faster here than it was there. The faster patches just mean we're closer to K-TERA's release pattern.

But yeah, as was discussed a little while ago, with the fact we're getting these new builds more frequently, it means they're going to spend less time making interim updates to existing builds to fix bugs. Whatever fixes happen will probably just go into the next major build, rather than release small patches. And as a result, a lot of the bugs will probably just go obsolete without being fixed.

That is the problem with Tera, NA Tera is not the base. That can help a lot, some garbage games made a name and got big b/c of NA being the base. BHS surely lack enough employees, even if they recruited some ppl before but it seems they are focusing on something else rather than Tera.

They are working on multiple games at once. A couple mobile games, and 2 PC games alongside Tera.
  • Archer is OP. Slow trap acts like a ultra quick arcane barrage but with way less damage and crit rate. Rapid fire is still OP. Thunderbolt glyph for x3 crit chance + base damage of +10k is OP. The new final salvo has a ridiculously high chance to stagger (at least bams). Dash skill is nice.
  • It's been a week, since Russians installed this patch. Why are we behind?

What I meant was this isn't a progression patch. By "gear progression" usually people consider the traditional "new dungeons + new mid-tier/VM". It's only an upgrade to Ambush and brooch, and only for top tier players because of the single weekly run and difficulty.
The actual content will still be suited for Guile/Imp/Ambush. :3

Russia is closer to Korea than NA is... obviously :open_mouth:

Please consider that EME had a few problem with BHS, so everything seems ot have been postponed. that is why. Feel free to go on EU if you want :)
