Differences between KTera and NA/EU

I just read about the talent system, did they ever say why NA/EU wouldn't have it implemented?

Kind of curious to know all the differences between the two.

It's a buggy broken mess of a system that requires constant fine tuning and correction, something impossible for other regions where builds are months behind
  • Enmasse has also stated that, in its current form, would not be valued in the West.
  • I understand, thanks for letting me know.

There are some discussions about the topic in the old forums, long story short: it's broken, it allowed some older classes to compete on a more even ground with the newer ones, sure, but it also widened the gap between new and old players. And, of course, some classes got a few pretty broken combos, ruining the balance even more.

The TS was also advertised as a way to further customize your character but in the end players found optimal builds and the "variety" faded out. However as far as we've heard, the talent system develpment in Ktera has ceased, seemingly ninjas received talents only because the developers back then still wanted to work on the TS.

Some also think it's just that the guy(s) who coded the system were fired or left the company and no one among the reamaining programmers knew how to fix it... that's pretty common in software development, actually.
