Archer or Sorc?
I'm trying to decide which one would be better to play. Mainly just looking to weigh in see the major pros and cons and differences in each. Any input is much appreciated.

On the other hand, archer always was the easiest class to play. The optimum range is 12m, but it doesn't matter that much if you're shooting from 6 or 18m. Just put your mark on the target, load the shot and that's it. Archer had a small revamp to refill mana and the small self-heal-HoT (feign death) is sufficient for a range-class.
So if you start one of the two, I'd start with archer and get into a smooth learning curve. After that you can still level a sorcer.
Sorcerer:
+ Very satisfying to play when you do it well, especially with the revamp.
+ You can solo it pretty easily especially with Lightning Trap and your iframes despite being squishy.
+ Aoes for days
- The mana management. If you're not using a battle solution you're gonna be out of mana if you're not being babysat by a mystic.
- Your armor is about as protective as wearing wet paper towels.
- Even with the revamp, it's hard to master, probably. I love squishy classes so it came more easily to me but I know a lot of people say it's hard.
Archer:
+ Easy to learn.
+ Never had to worry about mana for the most part.
+ Ranged leather is not as eager to die in one shot as tissue paper sorcerer armor.
- If you don't crit, it feels like slightly tickling the enemy instead of hurting it. This happens quite a bit at least for me.
- Skill animations look boring mostly, it doesn't feel as satisfying to play.
- Imo, harder to solo.
1. Good - Sorc got Warp. One of the best iframe skill in game. The burst damage is great. OP dps atm. Easy to control. Sorc got many iframe skills.
2. Bad - In TR. VM8 Design for weap & glove are about 900k gold. There isn't VM7 design for sorc weap/ glove. There is no cloth imp glove on market. Some skill is too flash and hard to see some boss movement.
-Very easy to get 1 shot by the boss. Archer can survive from some of boss attack, But, Sorc will get one shot and get killed by same attack from the same boss. If sorc is skilled and knows the boss pattern, then Sorc can be OP easily. But, I have seen new sorc die too many times by bosses in RMNM, SCHM, SSHM, LKHM.
Archer
1. Good - Skill rotation is little bit more fun than Sorc. VM8/ VM7 design are cheaper and there are some in market. Critical rate is higher with avg gear set.
2. BAD- Archer got only 1 and half iframe skills. Breakaway backjump skill have only iframe at the beginning. Archer can't use breakaway semi-iframe skill during charging a skill. Only backstep can cancel the charging and iframe instantly. Why not just delete iframe on breakaway and make double backsteps?
-Sorc have to stay little closer to the boss. So, for healers, it's easier to give cleansing and heal the Sorc. But, many unskillful archers stay way back or stay far from another range dps. Skillful archer stays ~11m from the boss and try to stay with another range/ melee dps.
