Prizes aren't worth it.
It says "And more". I will place my bets on that "more" being something i may take interest into. But i forget I'm a rare species of player who do the events for fun instead of profit.
I had fun watch G chat explode with "OMG I GET TO KILL SANTA teach him not to get every thing on my list last year" so you're not so rare
If anything my complaint is that it's through a time period when 90% of working adults aren't even home; not everyone's on winter vacation right now. Considering there's basically nothing happening at the moment, why not make it a full time event so bored people can just do it in their spare time or something? If you're worried about deflating feedstock, then just take it out of the prize roster. My friend got lamb bulgogi from it; that alone is enough to make me want to hunt these things, since I ran out of my stash and they're expensive at the moment. Goldfingers are icing on the cake. Good looking event, just make it longer and you're set in my opinion.
a second time frame during the later hours of the night for eu/nocturnals would be great, maybe split the current 4 hours up to 2x 2
Taking into consideration that the event wasn't supposed to start until tomorrow and that today was just a trial run, therefore fewer people were out and about hunting the Santas, which contributed to a greater Santa population. I don't personally think that this event is worth farming unless I am really bored.
I will be saving the remaining 50 tiny Santa boxes in hopes that the loot may be improved in the near future.
Well just going based on my experience of opening 53 tiny treasure boxes...
I love hunting down Santas, but I work every day at that time. I won't even get to participate on my days off because of family celebrations. I don't mind the limited hours but couldn't it move around some?
That said, thank you very much for making this work at all, given it is no longer supported. I also appreciate that you heard we were disappointed and made it happen so quickly.
It's an alternative christmas event... does it really need to have extremely good prizes?
As for the timing, I will pick the same string as so many others on here even though I am from Europe.
This is Tera NA. They will suit their times appropriately. And this timing doesn't even seem to fit all the NA players either.
I do think it would be nice to have it up non stop until, say.. 3rd of January? But that might be a lag issue of some sort for the servers, who knows.
