I don't know how to play a Lancer anymore

I just can't hold aggro. I pulled a monster off with my best shout and 2 seconds later it started wailing on the ninja. I went to a different dungeon and a different group and I just have no clue what I'm doing. It was sad anymore. If it wasn't for an amazing Mystic I would have gotten our whole team killed.

How do I get back in the game so I don't kill everyone?

    Those two guides should walk you through it. They also have a brawler guide, since I don't know what class you are playing. A lot has changed with the way that aggro works. It's all about dps. But there are some glyphs you can take to increase aggro and there is a crystal you can equip that helps too.

    practice with high/ mid tier iod bam.
    it's not that hard unless your gear is slaughter and your crit is like 50.
    use one threat crystal on weapon for now.

    if you are lvling, you need to hit boss. count- shield -- spring attack is basic combo for lancer. Count shield pulls more aggro than shout.

    It's probably your gear tbh you also need to do damage to keep aggro. I rarely get aggro pulled off me, the only time it happens is in lkhm on the last boss when she is in the center of the room when dps need to break shield but can just use challenging shout to get it back anyway. Basically if I stop attacking the boss for like 10 seconds i lose aggro usually, sometimes an archer will take it but i get it back before the boss does anything.
