Real armor for Heals
Since all of these classes are being updated slowly but surely, allow me take some time and put in my two cents. I have been playing mmo's for years, Tera being the #1 mmo to me since i started a long long time ago. I decided to be dps of course when i first started, it was fun and entertaining but I found myself bored after a couple of years. So I then switched to Priest, OH WHAT FUN
! But the one thing that i hate is cloth armor. WHO THE HELL IS GOING TO WEAR A PIECE OF SILK AGAINST A 50 STORY DRAGON? So i guess my point is why did you make healers, one of the most important roles in the game so fecking weak? If your going to take their ability to do any dmg away, then compensate by making their armor just below that of a tank. So with this updating of old classes why not make a change for the better and give healers (Heavy robed armor) and let them actually focus on healing instead of running from the one shots.

2. Because of #1, healers are almost always forced to build endurance, or any defense-giving stat; basically because there's nothing else to build. Unlike DPS and tanks, you do not need Power, Crit, (in some other games) Dexterity, Agility, and all those stuff. In some games you need to build some sort of Intelligence/Wisdom to increase healing, but that is not the case in Tera. This will push you further towards hardening yourself. It has always been the healer mantra - "you're as soft as wet tissue paper, toughen yourself up so you can do a better job at healing!"
3. As much as healers aim to harden themselves more, to take some hits and not die while doing their job (which sometimes require them to be in the line of fire), they weren't meant to wear steel armors. We have tanks for that.
4. Have you ever seen priests or mystics in real life? Are they wearing metal? No.
The class you looking for is something else like paladin/cleric/shaman etc
Well maybe ask for a shield n exchange in some moving speed= =
The solution to your problem is really easy and it might take a little work on your part but here you go:
