So, this was the worst year in the history of the Enmasse?

This year we had all: DDOS attacks, ping lags, economy problems , bug problems, what else, their team problems? Opionion guys?
Can we confirm that this was the worst year in the history of the enmasse?

It started going downhill when the original eme employees jumped ship. They're also in the process of an office move? It wouldn't surprise me if they're downgrading to a one room office space.

    Worse year so far.
    Wait 2017 we will see.
  • Let's wait and see next year, maybe they'll fix it or probably make it worse.

There is a job opening for Marketing Director if anyone is interested.

And Sr production manager for console? Maybe tera is moving to console next year?

I do agree that 2016 has been difficult for both player base community & company. But i do hope 2017 would be better for all so we can still have this great game & also nobody loses their jobs.

    Sorry for bad english

  • I'm not sure...With all the MMOs I've played over my life time, I find this very normal. Let's think about it guys, it's only really bad when Enmasse sells out to Aeria Games.

No doubt 2016 was not the best year for EME. Having to deal with the tremendous disappointment the 2016 producer letter was, the parting of 4 of the original core members of the EME team, the server merge being wanted, but ultimately not being well received by the players, the ending of crusades to introduce a better system, which unfortunately turned out to be the same as alliance and even more exploitable from day 1, the dragon mount fiasco, the loading screen contest, having good entries, but ultimately players disliking most of the winning entries (specially the winner), constant DDoS attacks, Dreamstorm being one of the causes of server issues, and many more, yes EME has seen better times.

I hope 2017 is a better year, cause 2016 was overall in every aspect, a bad year.

It wasn't that bad - despite game getting older and less popular EME managed to keep Tera away from p2w one more year. Dragons are still there, but we got mongos for mats, recent scrolls event for dungeon entries, and we somehow finally got rid of these stupid manual charming that was in my opinion one of most p2w aspects of Tera (recharming with campfire after every death while staying out of combat during learning runs was insanely annoying, now both elite and non-elite can do it with 1 button even in combat).

On the other hand, Tera didn't avoid getting more grindy (quatrefoil, T4 etchs, crafted accessories, new gear slot incoming).

He left for bigger ambitions, for which I cannot blame him. He saw what was to happen with the genderlock releases in the game and the inevitable within EME.
