Is Tera launching on consoles?
It looks like EME is looking for a senior product manager to launch an MMORPG on consoles:
Since the only highly-successful, world class MMORPG EME publishes is TERA, I guess that there's a plan to bring it to Xbox and PS, and that, if done well, would be absolutely amazing (tons of new players incoming->more profits->more content!).
Anyone has more info about this?

Ignoring that entirely, the game runs like a damn potato on even high-end machines. It's horribly optimized relative to any other MMO and there's no way in hell a console has the power to run TERA.
I don't think there's been any official announcements other than the news BHS was hiring a producer for it and EME's various allusions to it (surveys, focus groups, this position, etc.). It's possible the project won't work out and could be scrapped, but I don't think there's been any official statements suggesting it's been cancelled.
If they did this, even assuming they kept the same basic engine (though probably change out the UI framework), they would be able to optimize it in a much more focused way since they have a much more narrow range of hardware to work with. As you say, TERA's problem is not "power" it's just optimization. A good team with experiencing on optimizing for consoles could probably get excellent performance out of the game -- almost certainly better than many PCs get now (obviously not if the PC build were similarly optimized). And the key point would be that they would probably contract out a team to do this who is specialized in it. (You could probably say "well, why don't they contract a team to optimize for PC then" -- I guess it depends on how they are approaching this console project. I'd be surprised if none of the benefits trickle down.)
Adding vulkan support for easier ps4 to pc support, cpu multithread, and/or ue3 to ue4 would greatly improve the game's experience.
I think I saw one of anime/gaming con asking for ps4 player to test tera or something.
I found some links originalyosha.tumblr.com/post/144501177178/a-console-version-of-tera-for-xbox-one-and-ps4
another on is enmasse own survey https://surveymonkey.com/r/3LRCW9C
All I know is that porting to the ps4 is going to improve tera and bring more life into the game.
