For all that mentioned the fact that KTera has talents, thank you, I completely freaking forgot about that, lol.

Either way, I'm looking forward to when this class comes out, even if it's OP AF it still looks pretty fun to play. :awesome:

RIP in Slayers and Berserkers, and maybe Warriors.

that dmg is coming from crescent moon... what blood moon is doing is increasing the number of times you can pull off that skill...
also you definitely need more time to get full gauge for blood moon... notice he entered the dungeon with full gauge from the start since the meter does not deplete fast like other classes do...

the talent system is probably also kicking in...

His gauge starts charging at 0:44 and hits 1000/1000 at 1:28. 44 Seconds. and then again at 2:01 his bar is 0/1000 and charges up to 1000/1000 again at 2:44. 43 Seconds.

Yes I know talents add a lot of damage

blood moon increasing the number of crescent moons you can pull off(yeah i know about the lunar scar stack things for more dmg) and on top of that crescent moon has 3 times more crit chance. Its just an op combo IMO.

Where's your thread about Warrior doing 4mil/s on 3rd RMHM, Mister Useful Thread ? Where's the riot when it's not the flashy new class ? Where is the "omg this is so [filtered] up, people hear me let us complain in a socially approved manner and I shall take all the credit and feel validated for calling it out as first !" ?

First of all, I'm not sure if it's the same guy who makes those videos. I don't watch too many of them, I was just browsing my recommended feed and found it.

Second of all, you sound a bit salty, but you sound a bit salty at me, which I'm having a somewhat hard time understanding. You're mad at me because I didn't make a thread about other "OP" classes doing a lot of damage? If that's not it, further explanation would be appreciated.
  • Gunner skill that have 5min cd can hit from 5 mil to 10 mil depends on where you stand and revamp archer can do the same amount of dmg with 40sec cd skill with the same set gear only worse inner and brooch on archer and rolls on weapon are not perfect so that it speak for itself. What more can I say about bluehole

i just tested myself... the amount that guy gain from the two core skills, piercing attack and burst is twice as mine... i made sure i have both skills glyphed... the only thing left is talents... i haven't dug deep into these since i cant read korean but i think there something in there that increase the gauge significantly when you use those skills...

so yea, these big numbers are the result of the talent system which isn't exclusive to the new class....

To all people crying about talents:

this class has 0 useful talents. I've not seen a class that has literally much less useful talent than Warriors.

I'm working on the entire document for Glaiver which is almost done.

    This is the Talent section.
    kqtd81B.png

The only useful talent are base power increase and Gale Slash CDR when Fracture and Moonlight Plunge successfully Crits.

Other than those two, the only other talents that are viable are Lunar Crash Haste which increases casting Speed for next skills in 5 sec and New Moon Enhancement, which, everyone knows that enhancement talents are trash-- Literally, Glaiver has nothing to invest on that you actually build on the most useless type of Talent for the best skill.

This is because other skills barely contribute 10% of total damage yield.

You will see that, your damage distribution per skill breaks down to something like
    New Moon : 50%~70%
    Tornado : 10~20%
    Moonlight Burst : 10~20%
    Everything else : < ~10%

So investing on Skyward Slash, Piercing Moonlight, Lunar Crash, and Fracture are complete DPS loss if they will never contribute more than ~15%+.

You literally rely on one skill : New Moon. Kinda similar to how Warrior Scythe.

tl;dr. Take out around 10% DPS from KTERA's data. That's NA version's Potential DPS.

    @Idi0ticGenius
That means the class will be even more busted on NA. Ninja was at least somewhat held back by the lack of talents here and still ended up being a gong-show balance wise.

Yes. I'm just pointing out that Talents hardly affect Glaivers, so there won't be a huge difference of a gap between KTERA and NA.

Well, you did say 'rip warriors' even though by your standards they are equally over powered in KR. Gunner is also lower than Slayer, yet no complaints about them being trash.

Don't see anything wrong with the class? Sure it crits 25 mil each hit, but so does my reaper, in my dreams though. Q_Q

    thanks for the talent sheet...
do you happen to have the chest line options ?

i think there's something missing cause the lunar energy the guys in the video is gaining is more than normal specifically when using piercing skill i mean that skill alone contributed like half his lunar bar...

    Two very simple reasons:
    1. Gunners do very well in raids (aka THE endgame atm, despite being able to run it once a week) due to their guaranteed crit skills. Slayers are bottom tier in both raids and regular dungeons.

    2. People tend to like having strong classes rotated out of the spotlight. Gunners were dominating just a year and a half ago, to the extent that you would expect from a new class (50-100% over the next best class). Yes, Slayers were among the top (Berserker, Slayer, and Reaper? I believe) during FoA, but not bounds better than the rest.

Even before HH, forums claimed Gunner was still good despite being lower than Slayer, yet Slayer is bad. Also, after Gunner was quickly nerfed Slayer was on par with Gunner when Gunner had been "op", yet Slayer was seen as bad despite being tied with Gunner. This is obviously nothing more than bias. Apparently it's okay for "old" classes to be over powered as long as the "new" ones are useless. Realistically, people want what ever class they play to be the dominant class, because apparently it makes them feel good out performing others even if they have an advantage.

You can't set a standard and only follow it at your convenience, it's either there for all classes, or none at all.

Slayer was, by consensus, the weakest class during the Timescape era. The time where Slayer was viewed to be even on par with Gunner was around the Ninja patch. Gunners got nothing but nerfs since their release, and Slayer had buffs after buffs since then - and only then were they on par.
I never said that gunners "deserve" to be weaker than an old class. If anything, in my previous posts, I've been pairing Slayer/Gunner as the two weakest and are in need of buffs. But people's viewpoint on classes are heavily affected by the class' state in the past.

Also, aren't you the one who rolled an Sorc, then an Archer, following their revamps? I wouldn't lecture people on "wanting what ever class they play to be the dominant class" if that is the case. I've stuck with my class through thick and thin.
