What is this Popori?

Okay I've seen a lot of Popori, but this one seems a bit off... Is this normal in TERA?

Lore wise, they are "Wild" poporis. Putting it more detailed, they are poporis who were not properly "Domesticated" by their elin masters.

He's just André the Giant Popori version.
Don't mind him. As his title says, Traveler. Sure he dealt a lot of people out there during his journey.
  • Those are usually enemies, you can see them in the Celestial Arena sometimes.
  • That title. "Rude Popori" haha. I havent seen this npc. ^^

He is the victim of a cruel Elin master that awoke them. Once an animal and free he was accustom of relieving himself of toxic gas trapped in his body at will, once awoken he just simply carried this habit on. His Elin master was not amused by this at all and beat him each time he did. Now he finds himself holding that gas in as hard as he can no matter what to escape the beatings, why his face looks like that

There are some of them as enemies a short distance from the town of Scythera Fae (Sylvanoth region, on the continent of Northern Shara) if you travel in one direction.
The zone quests take you to them, and explain a little about them.

Its worth ignoring a lot of the elin/popori "lore" that players sometimes say jokingly (or not so jokingly)
This is because the developers originally made elin/popo as the same race, then changed it (in all regions) to separate races very shortly before game release (due to lots of perverted interest by westerners who couldn't get over the idea of them being the same race), and then a very small amount of official lore was written for the websites. I don't know how close the western lore matches the Korean websites lore.
Then role-play players have made up their own extrapolations of that official western websites lore, and often swear these extrapolations are fact (but of course they aren't).

The quests in the game may use the original lore or the new official lore or a mix depending on when they were made.

That might lead for us to be able to choose that as a character. Would be so nice.

Did you know Elins and Popo were same race. Elins were female Popori.

The idea was scrapped the moment NA people started to ask the BHS "How do they mate"?
