Buddy Code usage questions

If I send a Buddy Code to someone and they use it on a character and then choose to delete that character and start a new one can they use the same Buddy Code on the second character?

Thank you for your time and assistance.

if your code isn't used more than 3 times, it should work.

Stop right there criminal scum. You can only use one code on an account/server. If he uses the code and then deletes said character that will count as one use. You can use another code if you don't login for a month on that server/account. Though I guess you can try to send a ticket requesting to reset the buddyup timer if your friend didn't redeem the BuddyUp reward yet (though this will probably take you couple days).

TL;DR No, you can't use it a second time.

Ok, thank you...I was unclear on the part where the guide says the code can be used by up to three "recruits"...wasn't sure if that meant characters or accounts. My Buddy Code is going to someone who's not certain which race/class he wants to play -- so my suggestion was to try a cpl. before he decides which one to apply the code to. Then I thought to ask the OP, as I wondered if he could still use it if he made a character and then few days later was like; "Meh, don't really like xyz class so much..."

    Thank you for the replies/clarification.

EDIT: After I thought about it a bit more I realized how scammers would make multiple characters to get extra bonus stuff from the Buddy Code usage if the code could be used on a second character, etc. Should have realized that was the reason for not letting it be used again...sorry. Guess I'm too naive, as I did not think of it beforehand, and I would have been able to answer my own question.
