I was wondering is there a way to contact or send a sincere long email to Tera creators or anyone that is involved? Or am I asking to much?

There is a way yes, to contact the developers Bluehole Studios. Good luck trying them to answer you, cause firstly, they do not know English, and secondly, the last time someone sent em an email regarding TERA, it got tossed into the trash.
• It's so sad because it's their game, they should care what people have to say or offer. Anyway thank you for the reply Zoknahal.

Ohh trust me, they do care about TERA, the Eastern market of it. Countless times they have proven to us they have no interest in listening to the Western players about how to improve the game, and the best example is that after 4 years, they still have not come up with an Optimization patch for the West. The only thing they do listen is our wallets.
• Well even if they only listen to the Eastern side then why havent they come up with something interesting for Tera? Because all I see is player base getting smaller, their profits shortened and the game being left off with no way of showing the true potential of it. But eh, what do I know... I'm just sad that I dont see any efforts from them.
• all they have to do is throw out a pretty mount that farts rainbows and a cute costume and people will empty their purses at them. bhs knows that the majority of the western market plays dress up and has to have the newest mount. people wont stop buying cause they feel like if they don't buy it now, they may not get the chance to in a long while, also they want to be first in having it. it reminds me of school a lot.
when they wont even listen to eme, what makes you think they will listen to players? the whole dragon mount episode should have taught us that.

I'm pretty sure all the teams involved (including BHS and all the publishers all around the world) are focused on this question constantly, and every decision they make is designed to address this according to some sort of metric. The problem is that whatever metrics they are using don't agree with many people's opinions, certainly on the forum. So if you tell them "I think you should do <x>", if they were being open/honest, they'd probably tell you "our metrics actually tell us we should do <y> instead". And of course it's always possible they're following the wrong metrics and will do so to their proverbial graves, but that's a leadership issue that can only be addressed by their board of directors. Either way, I'm quite sure their board looks at TERA metrics constantly and is always pushing the development team to improve the bottom line, but that doesn't necessarily mean doing what people here think they should do. (I don't even think it's entirely an eastern vs. western issue either; what people say and what actually sells and gains/retains customers aren't always the same. They're certainly not going to use the forum as the only data point to determine if something is or isn't working.)
• The only populations they're taking in consideration is the Ktera , Jtera & maybe russian one , nothing else.

I totally understand what you mean. Also I don't know anything that is going on with BS or the eastern market or whatever, only they know that and it is their issues. My only concern is that people who play the game are their primary consumers, they should be the ones to say what is going on and what issues need to be addressed. Of course I'm not saying that people should dictate them what to do, but suggestions should always be taken into consideration. The game is made for us to play not for them, but then again if players from the east only care about dress ups like @allofspaceandtime said then Tera is doomed. Its their game though, they do what they see is best but the sad part for me is to see the potential of Tera is being wasted... like seriously the game has smooth combat system, nice graphics, neat UI, well thought out dungeons/battlegrounds. Even with the crashes and bugs I dont mind and I still play it. For me its only missing the big part and that is open world activities. But ahh well I can only talk about it here in the forums, not like something will change. Its funny because there is even a suggestion thread, dont really see the point if nothing will change anyways. We can only hope they will open their eyes someday if Tera will be alive by then lol.

Sorry I might have went another way of what you were saying.

I wish I knew Korean though, would be nice to ring them and shout out into their ears about how they are being such brick heads lol

Well, my eyes go for the game first and then the dress up, Im just one of those dress up victims lol. Although its funny the way you put it because its so true. I dont want EME to listen really, they are just publishers, I wish BS and their team would wake up and realize what they are doing to the game. But ahh well, nothing can be done. Thank you for your reply though! ;)

I'm sure it is taken into consideration, but you have to keep in mind that everyone has a different opinion. For example...

If you did a poll on the forum about the number one most important thing to improve in TERA, 1) I doubt most people would say that this is the most important thing, and 2) I doubt that any one given thing would get a big majority anyway.

For some it'll be graphics optimization, for some network lag, for some reducing RNG systems, for some better PvP systems and rewards, for others reduced/eliminated dungeon lockouts, for others new classes for other races/genders, for others more frequent and substantial content updates, for others increasing the level cap and development of new skills, and there is still the leveling process, character customization, side-systems (like housing, crafting, gathering, etc.), cash shop pricing/policies, and, of course, the open world. That's not by any means an exhaustive list.

I think most people can agree that they don't like the direction TERA is going because it doesn't seem to be resonating or building momentum in this market. But if any one of us were dropped into the director/producer's chair tomorrow and had the power and authority to control the development team for a year (within the current allotted budget and with the expectation to be profitable across all current markets), I think it'd be an extremely tough job.
• 1. only a small minority of the players are on the forums. The majority just logs into the game and plays it
2. those in the forums have a higher probability to be unsatisfied customers as there is no big incentive being in a forum if you're good with the situation as it is (e.g. you don't contact your garage if your car is driving)
3. a lot of players apparently are ... gods? They know exactly what the community wants, how to change the game and can guarantee that the sales will be boosted by 300% wihtin 6 months. Nope, this was sarcasm.
4. think rationally about the people leading BHS/EME. There are CEOs that earn in the six-digit area. Do you really think they drink coffee all day and nap until lunch break? A game is not led by a single person on a whim. Every decision is in accordance with several positions from management and
5. You have a good idea? That's nice, we (the players) need something like that. However, how do we distiguish between the bad ("give out free costumes OLOLO") from the good ideas? This is why we have a forum here. And keep in mind that one of the core tasks of a CM is to catch good ideas and feedback from the community. I once had an idea, announced it on the forums and EME did so (well, it ended in a desaster, so I'd rather not talk about it)
The so called "Western players" are actually a small and voicy community from the forums, majority of which are either very bad skilled or ultra casuals, so if I was tera dev, I wouldn't listen to it either..
And i got a theory that a sizable portion of Tera's end-game try hards are just [filtered] kids, what do you think?

Do you even know what "casual" means?
I'm pretty sure that most (if not all) casuals do not even know that there's a official forum for Tera.
Casual are ppl that got a life, a full time job, real life obligations and they can't spend much time on this "great thing" called Tera, much less crying on forums.
Also, skilled or not skilled means [filtered] for the devs. They only care about money, so that means selling EMP on cute outfits or p2w stuff.
Afaik, one of the reasons the game is on the current state is kids with lots of free time crying on inven korean forums (just ask anyone who translate stuff from ktera plz)

On topic: I just think that for a dev that can't care less about anything other than korean market, they should also forget about our money.
if they want our money, they should cater to our market too.
I'm pretty sure big devs like Blizzard at least think about chinese/asian market on games like wow/Diablo 3.
Idk why it's so hard for these korean mmo devs to understand...
