30 Kumas Royale wins (20-64) achiev

So, after the patch I was checking achievements and "30 Kumas Royale wins" was changed to 30 Kumas royale wins both in 65 AND 20-64 version.. so I was wondering, is it another bug that came with patch or it's meant to be like this? Any player who already reached 65 can't do 20-64 Kumas to get 30 wins so I'm confused.

    Most likely not intended.

Seriously I think Kuma levels you so fast you can't get 30 wins of Kuma before 65.

Don't worry though, PvP achievements don't count into Laurels.

You can, if you play nothing but that.

And I'm pretty sure those do, they're in the 'Dungeon and BG' category, unlike most other PvP achievements which are in the 'Special' category.

Not at home to check, so I assumed they were in Specials like the rest of the PvP stuff.

I can still safely assume that some completionists will be mad about this now.
  • Well I'm okay without that achievement, it only gives 30 points and I'm at champion already without any of these (Yes, it counts because it's not in "Special"). I just thought it's strange because it's probably the only achievement not obtainable at 65 and not in "Special".
  • If you do only kumas about 80-90 wins, I did lvl casually for 3-4 weeks, sometimes 5 lvls per day and I got to 65. So it's not that fast, if your not a good mama yourself it might take a while. You do get a bit of gold that is good if your starting starting over, like 60-80k once your 65.

I personally have not exclusively used Kumas to farm levels, despite most regular players do. Mostly because it got distasteful after the 3rd match, since it is just get good position to trap kuma boss and dps away.

Even without Kuma's (aside from the 1 win to get my 2x EXP), I can still level a dps on its own in 3 days flat without putting any form of extra effort such as skipping meals, family matters or sleep. (Which probably adds up to less than 24 hours of play time). That shows something lol.
  • Please don't make unobtainable achievements like this, it's pointless. Most players who bother with achievements are 65 anyway and this just hurts
  • It is for sure a bug and not intended. Every achievement that is impossible to accomplish for any character (like removed dungeons) goes to Special category and does not count towards laurels.
  • Some achievements (... what was it, SSG's first boss ? Karasha/Duke/... third oh right Terkasia) display multiple lines of requirement but get completed as soon as one of the objective is reached.

I was 1 away from getting the achievement yesterday. I'm going to be PISSED if it doesn't work anymore because that bg is cancer and I do it only for that achievement. I'll let you know what happens after I get first place again.
  • I'm liking my odds, focus 15 seconds and bear with me:
The 10 wins achievement also has this distinction between 20-64 Kumas and 65 Kumas. I haven't played Kumas since the patch, and my first rank achievement indicates 11/20 on 20-64 and 0/20 on 65; what this means is that pre-patch Kumas is counted as 20-64. However, my 10 wins achievement is completed and in the achievement tooltip, both 20-64 and 65 are displayed 10/10, the same way SSG's achievement is shown upon completion.
  • So, in case someone needs to know: the two bars are not linked. If you can't finish one achievement during the 20-64 time, you'll have to start it over when you get to 65 (I have 14 wins in 20-64, since that's the pre-patch one, and 1 win in the 65). That blows big time.
