okay we won't.
But I just did.
Then we've really dropped ourselves in it. He's gonna be angry.
"SHe's gonna be angry." i'm not mad at all
at least, that's what a lot of people have been claiming. I know some guy with old PC runs TERA a lot smoother.
Could also be your drives. Once I bought a gpu and tried running swtor and my graphics were worst until I upgraded the drives. Once you find a drive that works don't bother updating until you have to update.
From what I have noticed (I have a 3770k HT turned off), it will use three threads (about 75% cpu usage)
The game just runs like [filtered].
People rarely compare cpus with similar clock speeds and other specs. You could have two similar cpus at similar clockspeeds but entirely different performance based on other factors. Also, the issue with i7s running worse wasn't due to having 4 cores, since i5s have 4 cores, it was due to Tera being able to run on hyperthreads, but I don't think that is an issue.
If the issue is stuttering, or rendering problems, then it's usually a gpu problem, and not a cpu problem. As I've said in other threads, certain AMD gpus have problems on Tera and some low end reference Nvidia cards. I have used the same system through multiple GPUs, as well as a friend. Reference RX270, RX270OCed, Reference GT545, EVGA GTX650, Reference GTX960, GTX1060 6GB, Reference GTX1070 and a couple other AMD/NVidia GPUs that I can't remember. A friend who went from an overclocked RX to a 1060GB no longer had stuttering problems or had to restart his client before certain bosses. When I had a GTX650 and GTX960 I had bad stuttering problems, and the game would freeze when someone died as well. I now use a GTX1070 and just like my friend, those issues went away as well. Neither of us changed anything but our GPUs. The GTX960 ran at 100% utilization and got too hot when Tera was running as well at times while the RX270s saw nearly no utilization compared to the GTX960.
windows 10 (64) with 8 gb ram
(thanks.. for opening my eyes i guess ^^)
showing my task manager to you exactly when i'm lagging ? its a bit hard, but the problem come definitily from the graphic card since i tested others games and the performance is pretty low,i'll remove my rx480 tomorrow ,cant wait to try tera and others games with my futur 1060
