[TERA PC] Known issue: Little Red Tokens from the Little Red and the Wolf event have an inventory limit of 999 and if receiving a Vanguard Request reward will raise your token quantity over the limit, you will not be able to receive any of the reward items. We apologize for the inconvenience, but ask that you please exchange tokens prior to completing dungeon Vanguard Requests if you are approaching the inventory limit. [TERA PC] We confirmed that an issue with Civil Unrest persists, so Civil Unrest will remain disabled until further notice. Thank you for understanding.

Toxic Players and Where to Find Them

So my two main gripes are toxic duos and the way that instance resetting and instance entry numbers work. What if you invite players into your party, they seem like they'll do well, but then you're half way through the dungeon and.. they're not performing, they're being jerks, and you can no longer progress through the dungeon? There's nothing you can do to kick either one of them and keep your instance saved. You just have to deal with it or pray that your patience and humility last long enough and that you can get them to leave themselves after they get bored of flaming you. I really think either instances shouldn't reset until you press the "reset instances" button or there should be a way to get rid of players like that.

It happens in every MMO, and the only way to deal with them is to blacklist them and just call yourself unlucky.
  • Mount Tyrannas.
  • Deal with it brah..... they are everywhere spreading their toxicity for all over the world.... GG
  • No, Toxic players need to be REMOVED Not coddled by are GM'S... Toxic players are why games DIE.
Grow up & act right or do not play PERIOD! If you are not mature enough to play with others u should not be here PERIOD!
ppl need to start reporting them properly and GM'S U need to take responsibility & clean up Toxic player & not give some
phony baloney warning, these ppl LAUGH at you, and obviously for GOOD reasons if you do not bother to do anything to
get rid of the TOXIC players abound in EVERY server..

Quite honestly the ppl saying that just blacklist them or deal with it are probably toxic players themselves & should be monitored!
  • uh? kitting me...who da fug will banned a players for being toxic? NOBODY!!!!! get off that cloud brah.... is the way you are and that it.... people are toxic because their nature and a ban to some of them do no will eradicate the pest.... so YEAH deal with it like it or not
  • 90% of complaints on so called "toxicity" come from trashy dps w/o any idea on how to play
  • The most toxic are the ones who need help and when trying to help them nicely, they just go above and beyond toxicity thinking they know everything.

You just said they should be seriously punished and banned. But then you said people who say they should be blacklisted are toxic themselves. So, by your logic, you are toxic. reported xd

Generally publishers with resources suspend, even permanently for excessive negative behavior. Just because it's uncommon to enforce rules doesn't mean "no one" does it. It's already a fact people quit when they run into people that ruin their experience often, and them playing bad isn't an excuse to rage at them, considering ragers will rage even when a player is performing better than them anyways. There's a reason why when ever a game becomes too successful moderation ends up taken seriously over time. Tera is simply too small for anyone to really care, though.

Also, people are usually only toxic when there is no punishment. Consider the fact even in the real world, why don't people steal things they want? Well because it's nearly assured they'll be caught and face punishment. Meanwhile, in games people will steal because their peers weren't punished for it. This extends to their behavior, they see a lot of others acting a certain way, facing no punishment, so they see it as it's okay to do it themselves. Any form of lack of enforcement is always seen as "It's okay to do that".

Another thing to consider, crossing a certain line means you are violating some federal, and state laws, and can be punished if you harass the wrong person. Throughout 2016 several gamers have not only been fined, but also sent to prison over their online behavior. Just something else to consider.

Mostly happens in America, a couple times in Canada, and China. I'm also not sure why you're surprised about the fact a few young nobodies got no news coverage. After all, news is a business; if the story won't generate revenue then it won't be produced. You would have to specifically know of smaller places that cover these stories, or find court documents and any press releases by the police departments to know of them. I only know of these stories since one was posted on the League forums, since political discussion had been allowed there, and I also read a lot of government documents for the US, China, UK, France, and Germany.
