My Tera Journal

I have one problem with the Inventory Trick quest. UNLESS you have the gold to actually pay to expand your inventory space from the start, that inventory trick does not actually work. I would recommend to people to hold off on doing that particular quest turn in until they have the gold raised up to max out their inventory space. Then it becomes a trick. You are granted one more extra line after its already been maxed out. Well...atleast until you are given more from the achievements.

  • So I actually tested this, and this isn't the case. The "inventory trick" row is supplemental above and beyond those you can purchase with gold, and no matter which order you do the quest, there are still 4 rows you can purchase with gold. The inventory trick row does not count as one of those four available rows. Either way, you will end up with 80 rows of inventory space until it gets expanded further with achievements, as you said. (Or now, I guess, via the new inventory slot items.)
  • That's strange. That must have changed this a few patches ago. Back when they had allilance, I found myself using gold that would take me to only 72 slots in expanding my inventory. It was only until I turned in that particular inventory trick quest that I got 80 slots. That is what I am trying to say. So now you are telling me that, even if I turn in the quest first and then by the slots afterwards I'll still end up with 80 slots.

I think that is cool but it would have been nice that it was the case before.
I see a lot has changed since I had been away. No more dropping the runes as much as they used to. you can actually just buy them and craft the boss runes as well. So much has changed.

    I have much to explore.

I have 104 slots, what are you talking about?

How did you get 104? What level are you? I didn't get 104 until I met an achievement with my priest.
  • Today while gathering about for Krymtal or in the just northwest of lumbertown. I have noticed that the respawn rate as dropped considerably. I am wondering why this is the case in comparison to its rate last year.

New players start with 5 rows, then you can unlock more rows:
-you get one more row for free around lvl 10 with the "inventory trick" story quest
    - you can buy 4 more rows with gold
    - you get one more for free when you reach lvl 50
    - you get one after maxing out all your gathering skills
    - you can get one more after completing the quest "Bolstering the home front"

    That's a total of 13 rows =104 slots
  • It would seem that a lot of people are having different experiences when the play.

That model sounds about right too.

I got one lvl 65 that hasn't done all of the quest, nor has all the gathering skills completed. However I do have 88 slots on it.

If you haven't done all the quests and haven't maxed out gathering then you have: 5 starter rows + 1 given by "inventory trick" + 1 received when you reached lvl 50 + 4 bought with gold = 11 rows = 88 slots, so that makes perfectly sense.
  • Indeed that would seem to be the case.
  • I have come across many players in game that have been getting so upset about the changes as of late. Recently one was about the dreamstorm no longer being accessible. One remark has been. "It's so stupid to have a quest for something , if it is no longer accessible? " This was said after I had mentioned seeing in this particular post: From Denominatory in December 2016.

In response to player feedback, and until we can pinpoint exactly the impact of this event on TERA's overall performance, we are disabling Dreamstorms effective immediately.

We'll continue to monitor network performance and investigate performance surrounding this feature, but until further notice this feature will remain disabled.

Since then people have said, "They should atleast also remove the dang quest for it. 500 gold is taunting and we can't get it."

They don't have the ability to remove the quest, only the ability to turn off the server event, which they did for the aforementioned reasons.

Because the amount of items that received for gathering each node was increased considerably (along with the amount each node will increase your gathering level).

Just swap channels, usually does the trick for me.
  • hmm...I shall try that. not a bad option. I have high expectations what Can I say but that.
  • Well I've done ssn a few times. Even though I have watched the mechanics, I rewatch them to see where I have done something wrong. It's always the last two bosses that get me killed. Neophyte runs out and my grace runs out (which kind of sucks to be having it to last for twenty minutes and only be allowed to use it once.) I try to iframe and I can never get out of the animation coming. They get me every single time, when I watch some of the videos to memorize the animations and where to be. It isn't worth the study, because in game their animations are a lot faster, they move faster and I can't get around them. I'm getting only a little better but dang their animations are pretty fast and I just can't get to the safe zone fast enough.

Shadow sanguinary? What class are you running, and which mechanics in particular are catching you off guard? I find the dungeon to be relatively easy (hardmode included) compared to the other i410 dungeons.
