One of these are the regular Master's Additive with a supposed +15% (lies!) chance of getting a critical success crafting.

You didn't understand what it says, It says that you will get aditional 15% chance on crit.

You are the one that makes up the lie.

Actually I'm confused about it too...

If this isn't a typo, so these additives never gave us a increased % flat bonus, it just multiplies the crit chance base.

If this isn't a typo, so these additives never gave us a increased % flat bonus, it just multiplies the crit chance base.

ie, if your % to crit is 3% then with the first you will have increased 100% your base crit, so you will have 3+3= 6%.

The second will grant you 100% base crit.

It is hard to understand that?

Read the whole description not only fragments of it.

The first one clearly says "increase critical success chance by aproximately 100%", that means it doubles your chance of crit.

An increase implies a flat increase and not a multiplier for most English speakers. It's just a poorly worded tool-tip. This has always been a problem with tera, where tool-tips are completely misleading and confuses people unless they read a guide.

What makes you think that's a lie?

All those 3 day Etch tier II and III shits on my pocket :expressionless: Also we need those 100% for etching, give it to us if BHS not gonna give revamp etching, I made a thread about it :3

With everyone asking for these additives, perhaps it'd be best to consider what changes this will bring, both good and bad.

Even if they do release these additives, I hope you guys aren't thinking on making a massive profit off of these if they do. Depending on the availability of the additives, this will further lower the prices of tier 3's (tier 4 etching boxes put a sizable dent in tier 3 prices), now that it'll be FAR easier to crit on tier 3's with these new additives. The biggest complaint people have about etchings (the RNG) is also the biggest reason that etchings are as expensive as they are. If you want to buy etchings, though, this is a good thing for you.

Even with the reduced cost of permanent etchings, etching mats may cost more once these are released, particularly the pure fires/peaces. Now that there's MUCH less risk involved in critting tier 3's, more people will want these pure fires/peaces to craft tier 3's, rather than want to sell them.

Have you ever see the amount of rgn materials that are needed to craft Tier 3 etchings?

Thank you. Sorry I haven't been able to reply sooner -i tried- but with the forum's security certificate being expired it was being a pain. Anyways there you have it @Spacecats .

And everyone saying +15% +25% and +100% is a multiplier and not an added bonus you all could just say that instead of just assuming everyone knows that. That's poorly worded as hell.
  • So @Spacecats are we gonna see this anytime soon? I would guess one version is found in the game and the other in a lootbox in the cashshop?

@Spacecats I second this, an update would be nice.

As well, the master crafters should be a cashshop only item (and not a cheap one either), while the blacksmith's could work as a jackpot bonus item for battlegrounds (giving us a reason to do them when bellacrium and killingspree credits are removed) or something along those lines.
  • Along the way, don't forget about bravery potions with matching cooldown - that every other territory has and this one doesn't.

  • Hello, I just find about these Additives. Not answer since January, Can you tell us if we are going to have them please? Im saving matts for etchings cuz its too hard to get a crit. If we are not going to have them at least I can try with master additive but would be great to have an answer please. @Spacecats ty n.n
