    That would be nice. I forgot to mention that we in NA are only "the rest" as apparently only/strongly the korean forums represents ther Tera community.

    I guess we should look at CS if they will take the changes back.

    Kumas is one of the battlegrounds where one single person can change the outcome. I've seen people doing 700k damage in 2 rounds, meaning that they alone carry the DPS of the whole team. I've seen Kuma boss players that get 100k damage maximum which ensures even low DPS teams to win.

    Just don't blame "the team", because you're a part of it. You are responsible at least 10%, even more if you're to deliver high firepower according to your BG stats. This means, the matching system recognizes your previous performance (e.g. I'm nearly always placed as raid leader), so every single team member has to deliver the performance within their own ability range. Because of this, the team can't "suck". You will never be placed in a team where your other 8 team members are 700k-DPS, that's why we have matchmaking.

    OK but that still doesn't change the fact that you have to wait 30+ min (or almost 2hours in some cases) to get into a KR WIN or LOSE and have to wait another 30+ mins to get back into another game....when before the change and or before reaching lvl 65 the queue was almost instantly....and Yes, I did Reset the queue every ten mins just to make sure and in one case I left the queue going and it got up to and Hour. At that point I just gave up and logged off...

    ...and FYI I too have been placed as Raid Leader (MOST of the time) and I too was at the top of the DPS list and in some cases I was the only one doing the DPS when everyone else was chasing the babies or Defending mama or I had to take Mama because no one would so yeah, I DO my part in KR and NOT to be confused with the whinny "I wanna be carried and my team lost so they suck" guy or the guy who comes in only to be "AFK" and slightly move so that the system doesn't kick him if the other players don't, because they don't want to do anything and came in just to get a reward for showing up!!...

    Anyway, at this point we should make bets on the longest queue time and EME giving out prizes....just sayn' ...Love you EME but fix this load of Kumas Poo...

    Fortunately, the system balances out KR with the personal rating, so having e.g. a winning or losing streak over 20 should be impossible. Except for those who trick the system and ragequit every losing round.

    I q whenever I gather lately, and stop when I complete the guild quest. An average of 25-30 minutes (I take my time). I have q'd most days this week.

    I have not been able to get into even one game. Different times. Different days.

    And it will only get worse as more people give up. EME has got to be able to keep track of how often the game plays, right? I hope they are sending the numbers to BH.

    I really came to enjoy that BG. I will miss it.

    Please notice this forum post. Long ago the NA team used to make exceptions from the KR build for the NA players to be satisfied. We don't have the same population as KR and this should be recognized. Your CEO even said you guys have regular communications between your company and BHS because you are a sister company of BHS. Help your game by helping the community, please.

    This is exactly why posts like "my team sucks" is leading into the wrong direction. EME and BHS will think that splitting the BG into pre65 and 65 was the right thing.

    Somehow it's very hard to explain the community that BOTH teams have exactly the same problem. You have beginners (no idea what to do) mixed with professionals (700k damage) in both teams. Kumas Royale went exactly the same way CS did. In CS, the Tera community was crying for years that players <65 (previously: 60) are only a hindrance in their team. Having DCs, afks, PvP chasers, etc. also happens to BOTH teams and in fact is a part of the balancing. Basically, playing a BG is a gamble, but you can't balance it even more. We have a maximum equalization already - think about how the original kumasylum was. If you would want people to stop with "my team sucks", the only thing you can do is letting everyone spawn as a stick and play Pong.

    People just want to be carried and are fast to say "my team sucks". This makes EME/BHS think to split up the BG.
    Let's try to change point of view: if no one would be talking about Kumas Royale or the common resonance would be "it's okay as it is", would BHS have had it split?

    Splitting CS was actually relevant because lowbies not having skills/crystals/glyphs to be onpar with an attempted streamline with EQ gear

    Kumas your gear/crystals/glyphs has no relevance because youre a kuma with a preset hp pool/skillbar like everyone else

    Comparing the CS qq threads to Kumas qq threads is apple to oranges pal
  • Hi, think this is my first post in this forum but i had to, i was enjoying kumas so much before the change, i can't say i'm a pro but i do well, had games with 700k dps in 2 round, had game being mom with more then 800k hp at the end, so i know how it is, i had many times new players in team that didn't know a thing about what they were doing, but i also had oponent teams like that so i guess it was a balance in the end, not 100% wins but that's the game, it was good like that, now, it's really bad, i don't even try to queue anymore, i don't have time for it, can't waste 1 hour for a game that i might even lose after all, why the change i still don't get but i do hope it can get better cause it was really a fun BG and i have friends that say it would've been nice to be a different game that you could just kumas, they were right, anyways i don't expect things to change but i thought i'd give an opinion about it as well.

    Nothing. And like Blackhat said, I still really have no clue WHY. Is it like the pvp65 for all? To make us the same as KTERA? If anything has been said that maybe I missed could someone point me to it?

    I'm going to go play a point and click game and drown my sorrows in cranberry juice. :(

    It is because it takes way too much effort to put many of our current implementations without getting bugs.

    Those in PvE servers will realise KR included an Outlaw declaration in their skill bar. This is because they got rid of the PvP/PvE server system entirely in their current build. There is no way for them to roll back the old PvP change unless they make BHS code it back, which you know doesn't work out that way.

    Same goes for 1-64 and 65 kumas. A redundant change even in the eyes of Korea players, but the devs did it so the devs themselves can properly issue rewards for different demographics with their new system which again was a gamble.

    In short, the only reason is because requesting for specific region changes will take way too long for our region specific build to come. (We used to be 6 months or more behind just because of this issue). And also BHS nowadays are so prone to bugs a region lock specific build will delay our content even further than what it was.

    If you want Tera NA to be what it was, you really need high quality coders to recode our version. And judging from manpower at EME, there is nothing much we can do tbh.
