EME should just ignore posts about how the economy is ruined. Like seriously how people continuously come to a conclusion that something is is there in larger quantities then the economy is broken.

Economy is pretty important to the health of the game. Even if it's only a perceived shift in the economy, it shows what players are lacking or even hoarding. Obviously not everyone invested in TERA is an economy expert, but at least players know what they don't have.

I dont want to derail the thread but it's feedback I've been looking for as we near the end of the patch and a lot of players are bored and looking for something to do.

Events are what make tera fun between grinding battlegrounds/dungeons.

Tera needs more variety of events not less with more dungeon grinding.

OPEN WORLD events. Community - Raidable - Sociable events. This is an MMO were playing right?
I guess I could have worded that better. I like events too but there are players that work during the weekends or timezone conflicts if its only for certain hours. Adjusting dungeons is a way to make items available at any time. If they try to accommodate different time zones you also get players complaining about having to be awake at 3am for an event.
  • wut 12 hours of farming?

the heck? you dont have a life? :proud: :confounded:

It is important but the posts persons make are at least giving me the impression that it caused such a disaster that it wrecked to game just because things were cheaper. if only you guys had a system that could poll the players that log in ingame because a majority of players dont post on the forums

Well, a poll is also biased because people are inevitably self-interested. If you got a ton of mats from an event for little effort, it's like "bank errors in your favor" or something -- most people will say they're pretty darn happy. "Please do that again!" But the consequences cascade from there after that: people who miss the event are really disadvantaged, less people do content because they don't need any mats (making it harder to form parties), new players struggle to get ahead (because nothing they can earn to sell has value), future events are judged against the rewards of the previous one, and on and on. The problem isn't exactly "cheaper mats" (although that is how some people framed it), it's the overall balance of the economy. The people who will be most negatively impacted won't actually realize the root cause, they'll just have an awful time catching up.

(I do realize that it definitely seemed like the reason some people were complaining was because they were trying to make a lot of money selling mats and EME cut their profits, so it seemed like the rich were getting mad that the poor were getting ahead. While there might have been some people speaking with that self-interest, I at least don't think that's the real problem.)

Majority in-game don't even come to forums, not even complain about gender lock clasess and don't care about PK players, but they care about how to make more gold, how to get the best gear and have to be able to do all end-game dungeons. Most of them enjoy dress-up game and elins.
