Literally Unplayable game

Every time I try to do something, the game freezes and I have to go into task manager to end the process. Can't do story quests, can't do dungeons.

Doesn't help that the launcher takes 5 minutes just to start up the game and get to the character select screen.

Great game, [filtered] coding.

    Lol I forgot to mention my computer is not an issue at all. I can play much more demanding games than Tera. Tera needs to be optimized and fixed because right now its a POS.

    Make sure you don't have Windows Defender or some [filtered] scanning your [filtered]. Go into any AV you have an except the Tera folder. This was causing some serious issues for people after Windows 10 came out.

    This. Add TERA as an exception in Windows Defender.

    I did this and mine loads up within a minute now, it used to take about 3 minutes for the ninja image to appear, then a further 2 minutes to get to the character screen.

    Happened to me last night, 5 times logged in, all crashed in 5 sec.

    But, it only happened when I logged in Ninja. Logged in again using other char, and back to ninja. Walla, IDK what happened, but it's worked.

    Okay call me dumb but exactly HOW and WHERE in windows defender do I accept the Tera folder to prevent the ridiculously long [filtered] loading wait time?

    Nevermind! Found it and fixed the issue!

    Ok, this made my load in time significantly better! Yay!

    But I'm still freezing for no reason. Like when I'm doing this level 60 story mission on top of the air ship, I've got about 30s, then it just freezes.
    Any help?

    Couldn't be a latency problem? Usually i don't have any lag, but last night for example my launcher took 3 minutes to run and the game freezed and kicked me out. If not, did you patch without problems the last big update? i had similar issues in other games for that reason.
