Warrior a dps? are they planning on updating this class?
Warrior is my third class in this game and i was planning to main in it, however as the game progresses, i don't see any significant improvement in their damage. i love playing the warrior, its complexity is just the thing that keeps it interesting.
but i wonder will it always be like this? is warrior better off being a tank?

I think is better as dps, as tank he lose aggro so easy and revamped classes needs to gear one tier below him to not steal the agro from him.
Wait for revamp and then u'll be top dps and tank.
but sometimes, maybe 1 in every 20 warrior mains at end game seem to have this massive damage output.
it has been this way since the beginning, good warrior can out dps bad warrior 4:1
if they revamp warrior, it will probably be to reduce the skill cap because that is the sort of decision BHS are making at the moment.
Its not IF,the revamp is already old news...
Play style of warrior remains the same. Warrior remains a class that needs hella skill for max dmg output, Revamp just help warrior to get higher output dmg since compare to other classes it needs more focus and skill.
Reapers comes second to my mind, A casual reaper, skilled warrior and Reaper does way more dmg than casual ones, revamp and buffs doesn't change that.
I generally think of a revamp as something that significantly changes the play style of a class.
The recent changes to archer (and possibly sorc, I don't play it) are a revamp.
When I looked at the warrior changes it just looked like pretty much the same old warrior with more damage.
So I was hesitant to call it a revamp, since it just looks like a buff to me.
I probably should have phrased it "if they change the play style of warrior..." to avoid ambiguity.
I wonder how many old knowledged warrior's wont glyph deadly gamble. It wont be the glyphing that does the trick though, its knowing how to use it, depending on so many circunstacial factors.
As far as its been knowned from news in Korea, the play style focus has changed. The debuffing support characteristic seems to have been swapped with extra attack speed boosting crit if properly focused in that direction, so in a way it can be seen as a deeper change and thus a revamp, though i'll wait until i get my hands on it and see it for my self.
Warrior tank gets a revamp, not DPS, tanking as warrior goes to a new level and needs new style.
thought pole dancer was top dps now
Should be a window of time with war on top before pole dancer, unless our war revamp gets pushed way back.
archer and sorc can still out dps it, if you look at all those ktera videos, talents aside how does a sorc only do like 2m dps when over here sorcs without them can do almost if not 3m+, most of those videos that show the new and revamped classes the gorup seems to hold back to let the person playing the new class show off what it can do, if those people actually went at it the new/revamped classes would do much less but would still have an offset high dps due to high party dps.
knowing when to use dg? you mean just using it when boss gets enraged, there really isnt anything else to it.
For the archer revamp all it did was change skill priority and some particle effects, so if you consider that as a revamp then so is this upcoming warrior change, as skill priority changes with the new edge values.
Tanking-wise, it pretty much IS still the same where you just block cancel certain things, its just that torrent of blows will ACTUALLY do a decent amount of damage and not just be used to hold aggro aswell as being a auto-block skill like lancer's wallop and brawler's growing fury etc.
