    1) Check your mail
    2) Sometimes you don't receive the message of picking up, it shows as an icon that you have obtained. IIRC that was what happened with the instance reset scroll drops.

    This is the correct answer. Your name only appears on rolls in the chat, not what random items you picked up. Just pay attention to any other items you pick up, they don't appear in the chat either.
