Looting Suggestion

I've been in a lot of parties that disband before they loot everything. The problem is when you need/want something you have no choice but the be kicked out of the dungeon. Most people are doing dungeons for the daily more or less for the actual loot inside. I have lost a few lady's this way along with other mats/gear.

  • Your post doesn't offer any suggestion, just a complaint.

A suggestion would be to make any and all loot that isn't rolled on given to the last player who doesn't drop from the party through parcel.

We had this topic several times. Just COMMUNICATE that you need certain items and ask not to disband immediately. Usually 1-2 players stay and keep doing their stuff (opening boxes, organizing inventory, etc.).

Just try to see it from a different side. People are e.g. in full Guile and only need the run, not the Slaughter gear dropped. May it be for Vanguards, may it be for their guild quest. This is also why they speed up. But a lof of people don't mind to stay for 2-3 min in party, for their guild chatting, discarding useless things, opening boxes or enchanting.

    Edit:
Oh, and no one wanted to have their inventory/mailbox cluttered with more stuff as they left the party last/didn't had the chance to drop.

I'm at a loss as to what you are suggesting.

I am against the idea having the last person be responsible for the loot dropped, and can already see people complaining about getting Cleansing Brooch and/or Ambush Belt duplicates for being the last one to leave. all those Tier 1 Demense jewelry from VoK? Imperator Belt and materials from SSHM? think of the consequences mate.

I also do not have a suggestion myself for this. just ask your party mates to stay.

Solution is fairly simple. Simply change it so where you're only removed from the instance when you actually decide to leave.

    This would be fantastic. +1

I Agree auto closing of the dungeon when people leave is a hinderance to some players. I think that change would be a good idea.
  • I think any loot should go to the remaining player if everyone leaves the party before distribution ends. It could go to their mail.

Not a bad idea. But still it shouldn't just auto close.
