What are the requirements for the story quests?

I am a returning player of sorts.
I got to lvl 57 in the eu version before Gameforge broke the entire game for everyone by forcing the cam specific skill targeting system on all classes.

Now I want to raise another character here but I only want to do a few of the story quests I haven't done already and skip the rest.

Are there any specific requirements for story quests other than having reached a certain lvl? Like having finished specific other story quests before or so?

    Some of the quests won't be unlocked until you complete others. As it stands now, you'll likely outlevel a lot of the story quests as you raise your character anyway.

    What do I need to so to do story quests starting with the ones in Celestial Hills?
    I finished up the Scions of Lok stuff until there but that's where I first started spamming vanguard requests and lvled like mad so I ended up skipping a bunch of story quests and only got back to some lvl 40+ quests.

    Do I have to do the earlier Scions of Lok quests as well?

    I think every 10-20 levels or so, you get a new quest string, starting in Velika, or one of the other capitals. I'm not sure about the celestial hills ones. You always seem to have to level up a bit to get access to them (level 22 quests, I'm always at level 21 when you're meant to start them), but I don't know if they're part of the string or not.
