Brawler as controller?

I've got a brawler up to 57 (no endgame yet) and I noticed brawler has a bunch of skills or even normal attacks that can stun, knock down or launch mobs as well as a good amount of bosses (so far most could be stunned/knocked down and some even launched).

While Brawler seems to be focused on dps with tanking as side job (I heard the real tanking is better left to full tank classes like Lancer), I noticed a lot of crowd control potential here.

Are brawlers usually seen as controllers as a side job at least or do people usually ignore that?

All endgame bosses are immune to KD/stun (with minor exceptions like BR but it's really really situational). There are some normal mobs in dungeons but they offer no challenge anyways. CC skills are purely for PvP in Tera.

Both brawler and lancer are full-time tanks, playing brawler as dps is possible but not recommended. The main difference between them is that brawler has more raw DPS when tanking while lancer provides better party buffs.

avoid using punch at endgame tanking, you will lose aggro. And even in lower level dungeons you would see yourself lose aggro to semi competent dps if you use punch alot.
