Which healing class is more popular? Also healing rant
Which healing class is more popular and likable? I personally love mystic however I'd rather have burst heals than just supporting auras and heals.
Also here's a short rant, healers please be kind enough to resurrect those who give you a tough time....because keeping one dead doesn't put a good reputation on you nor the other person, we don't need to be down on one person because "they can't figure out what they're dping" let's not be toxic healers, let's be healers that get their job done with all do respect because leaving someone dead really is ignorant. I saw a priest leaving a reaper dead in liliths because they didn't know the boss mechanics and left them dead while a sorcerer shitted on it. The reaper had good pve crystals, some dyad. They were finely geared, just inexperienced but it gives healers no reason to leave them dead.

Also as a main mystic, I can understand where you come from, but you have to remember that if someone dies a lot it becomes more and more difficult to res them each time while also trying to deal with the rest of the party, the living take priority over the dead, if resing one causes another to die, then in total you have done nothing, so sometimes the dead have to wait a little, but just leaving someone dead for the whole fight for no reason is a [filtered] thing to do. I have seen other healers do that and it makes me pretty mad to see.
When someone dies and immediately starts yelling 'RES' it tends to take me a little longer to res them though.
Mystic heals are very burst-y. TF is closer to HI than FH and BP has no target limit.
If somebody is a liability to the party, the healer has every right to leave them dead. If somebody doesn't know mechanics, they can(in some dungeons at least) cause a wipe. If somebody is dying 3 sec after being resurrected, that becomes a waste of time that not only could but should be spent supporting the rest of the party. It's a judgement call that a healer will be forced to make sooner or later.
Regarding the resurrection bit...I agree. IMO there is an unspoken healer code that amounts more or less to (if you've seen It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia) Thundergun Express: "Thundergun leaves no man behind" or "I'll come back for you."
I do whatever I can to heal and res a player regardless of how bad they are, as long as I don't put myself in danger in the process. I recently did a RMNM where two of the players died every tail smash and every front slam/circle AOE and dutifully res'ed them every time. Not trying to glorify myself or anything...the only time I'll leave someone dead is if they pull some serious attitude with me and start yelling and blaming me because I can't healcarry their lack of experience.
Thundergun leaves no man behind!
Best healer in CS? Mystic CC is somewhat limited to harassing other healers and stalling a few individuals coming through gates. Motes are mostly useless (no one uses them) except for the self-heal the Mystic gets for casting them. Auras are nice though. Priest's kit is a lot more useful for CS in my opinion, and the large group heals really come in handy. Just a pain trying to rebuff everyone.
