Warrior Resolve Regeneration Issue.

I have been noticing issues in game about the amount resolve that gets regenerated when warriors attacked. It is literally non-existent since the warrior buffs went live. Wondering if any of you warriors out there have been feeling and seeing a issue with your re not being regenerated as much pre patch.

  • So far only felt MP drain, Re seems normal.
  • Hasn't been a problem for me.

    quit hopping around so much

or if you're tanking learn to block on reaction
  • Thanks 4 the feedback! Probably only warrior mains who played for awhile could tell. Already talked to a few and they see it as well haha. Basically im seeing skills not give as much re as before especially dfa which gives a ton before.
  • I noticed the same as far as DFA is concerned, RE has a harder upkeep (It seems) but I personally like that you have to work for it a little more, it keeps you moving and discourages chaining blocks/dodges.
  • @Vanellope definitely, u have to keep positioning more in mind now. Thats how i feel as well. Adds a bit more challenge to warrior despite the buffs lol.
  • Absolutely, I prefer a challenge (Thus Slayer main Lol) so having a secondary objective to keep in mind is nice so that you don't go into an auto pilot mode and have something to overcome.

Though how I worded it makes it seem like it's a huge thing, it's not super terrible, but it's something to keep in mind while in a run.
  • Well im always one to maximize dps so positioning and getting to the back was important to begin with. Its just something u notice after playing a class for awhile u knw u can do this skill and when it not up ur like wtf. I dnt just stare at me re i just knw it should be up lol. So when im like trying to roll and i dnt have re im like, "At this moment i knew, i done f'ed up" lol

Lol, yes I have had a few times when I see something coming and mash E and nothing happens then I eat an attack because my dumb brain won't just problem solve and use backstab or DFA.

Edit: Warrior isn't my main, so I still have to get used to having a 'Dodge limit' bar as opposed to a cooldown. It's funny how when taken out of your element, you preform (?) in a different way in the same situation that you would when in your element.
  • LOL yeah totally respect slayers they definitely have to have really good positioning thats forsure. And yeah being a warrior main, re was not something i worried about unless i had to excessively roll due to having aggro or kiting. Its something that u feel and thats why when u feel that somethings off its harder to adjust cuz its ingrained in ur reflexes that it is up. and when ur not able to doing something that u cant do ur mind is trying to comprehend, "why cant isnt this skill going off" hence face tanking a skill.
  • It's always cool seeing a warrior in a dungeon next to me, I am sitting here taking 3 hours to get off one attack and the warrior over there just hacking away like mad person.

But yeah, on Slayer I have a feel of my cooldowns and dodge limits, but when I go to warrior I have to adapt to the difference. Though I don't plan to play it a lot, it's nice to test the waters on new/revamped classes to get a feel for them.
  • The bulk of resolve restoration lies in the skills that you wont typically use in your rotation. A full traverse cut restores quite a bit of resolve (10 per tick), rising fury both hits restore a lot as well, as does poison blade. Use all the abilities in your toolbox, also learn to not just rely on evasive roll to move around.
  • @Catatonic When i talk about re regen i primary meant regarding skills dnt give as much re as they used to. Srry if that didn't make that clear haha. And yes i do use all the skills for movement such as rising or even combative if i need too. What im getting at is despite all of that re regen isnt what it was ore patch as far as i can tell. I did talk to other warrior friends and even they have felt it. I just took to forums to see if anyone else had noticed it.

I have been maining warrior for awhile so its not like i dnt knw what im doing ofc i still pick up a couple new tricks when i see or hear it. Hope that doesn't sound conceited. But yeah thanks for the feedback!
  • Nothing has appeared to changed regarding resolve regeneration. I have played warrior for a considerably long time and never have resolve issues. A solution would be to evasive less and learn key times to reposition on bosses you are familiar with.
  • I am assuming that it may have been a silent change possibly. To put it into context a good party where the boss rarely moves I do not really have an issue. But, when I have to pug and sometime I end up pulling aggro i roll alot and knowing when my roll is up has become second nature so I know when I about to run out. Where it was a few occasions where my roll would be down because I ran out of re started to become very frequent for me. Its not like I took a break one week and the next week it changed. I never had a problem before the patch regarding re and know I do. And when I mean never i mean like never always had more than enough re than i need tbh. And when I started to look at how much my skills regenerated re it was significantly less than what I have seen it regen. Like i said its something I noticed and it could be me paranoid, but from what i have seen it just doesnt feel as skill regen as much. I was just curious to know if this may have been a bug, if not its just something i have to get used to like any good player would haha. If you do not have an issues with your resolve it may be something that is just happening to me probably lol.
