Uncommon Noctenium Refiner Price Discussion
I think we should address the price of the noctenium refiners. As of now the price is a little steep and would take nearly all your vanguards to get one refiner.
If you were a non elite player you would still want to spend some of these points on crystals and reset scrolls so more than likely it would be hard to even get the refiner.
If you are elite you can get away with not buying reset scrolls but, a lot of players need a large amount of crystals to reroll to get dyads. Also, to buy these uncommon refiners would be such a luxury to have and would only be used rarely.
I just feel that it is to high of a cost to be used if you are also trying to progress in the game, when nocts should be more of a common material to be used to help you progress further and faster.

But thats obviously not the intent of this item, the legendary version of this would be a luxury item. ( for some reason we did not get the rare and legendary version we only got uncommon version )
it was really supposed to be a supplement to help balance the use of noctenium between all classes. Not a luxury item. With this price it is, but obviously not the intent of the creation of the item.
Yeah but thats the point, BHS created an item to balance noctenium uses. Not a luxury item for only elite players. As a berserker I use way less nocts than a warrior or reaper or brawler, ninja pretty much every other class besides healers. It is supposed to be WORTH getting and USING.
And then some *** decided that it's a 'great' idea to give even basic one more bonuses than normal nocts. That's where they screwed and instead of simply fixing nocts imbalance we got just another luxury item exclusive for speed runs.
Now even if they make them 1 gold each, it would just inverse the problem - classes that used less noctenium will be forced to burn more on potions because of higher buff. All community asked is to get equal choice.
Yeah thats the point should be reduced as a reasonable way to balance classes noct uses, not to just unbalance the game further by forcing players to use them after they have everything they need. Since there is so many people that need vanguard points for other things.
too short
and least, about standar players with vg farming, you can buy 50% credits boost with 25 federation bills/tradebroker/ tera emporium rewards, im no see issue here since you can obtain rep. boost without gold.
im only happy mwa up price
So the cost of a refined noctenium is about 1.5k gold - for 10 minutes.
You would have used over 1.2k gold's worth of regular noctenium in that time.
Makes economic sense to me.
700 noct / 10 minutes is 1.16 noctenium per second. Possible on certain fast burning low ping classes - sure, realistic in your usual every day common item usage scenario (especially on any other class) ? Not really.
This is de-facto an expensive luxury item and already borderline nonsensical.
