Too high-leveled for Quest, advice please.
I skipped a few story quests getting one of my characters to lvl-65, and am going back to complete them now and ran into an issue: one of the quests requires me to reduce an NPC's health to 30% or lower and then use a potion on him to control him and escort him to another location. Problem is that he dies now with one shot every time I attack him...have tried unequipping everything except my wpn., and same results.
I'm thinking my only alternative would be to group with someone of a lower level who would not kill the NPC with one shot, and after the NPC's health is lowered I throw the potion and escort him to complete the quest...does anyone know if this is a workaround for this type of situation? Haven't ever grouped with anyone in-game before and not 100% sure how the mechanics work.
I rushed to get to lvl-65 at the end, focusing on xp only, and not story quests, etc., because a friend had given me a Buddy Code which was a few days from running out, and he wanted the Black Dragon Mount available when I hit lvl-65.
Thank you for your time and assistance.
