(Bug) Priest's Trigger/Chained Skills

When you go to set up your chained skills for best performance as a healer, I noticed that there are some skills missing from the trigger skill list. Normally I'd assume all skills would be there since 'Summon Party' is offered to become a chained skill, so I don't know why these ones aren't listed as a trigger skill. I'm at level 65, and the missing skill names are:

o Metamorphic Blast XI
o Shocking Implosion IX
o Triple Nemesis XI
o Divine Intervention

I wanted Dive Intervention as a trigger skill so that when I leash a player to my direction, I wanted to use Healing Circle for immediate response to their HP before they ran away and kill themselves. I was hoping that this is just a bug and that it can be fixed sometime in the future, as it's not a massive issue, but I'd like to use these skills for more convenient use when it comes to larger parties (ex: Harrowhold, Rift's Edge, 7-man).

For best performance you actually shouldn't have a single chained skill, but that of course is besides the point.

The 4 skills never had a trigger skill for a very long time actually, and I don't think there ever will be.
  • @aeee98 Hmmm, I guess that's all right then. I actually grown fond of these trigger skills because I feel like a reaper, all I have to do is click "C" and everyone is happy. I'm not a huge fan of clicking things from 6 to 0, - and = as well as F6 to F12, it's to far away from my left hand and I don't have a gaming mouse where there is extra buttons on the side. That's why I was wondering if they'd make this trigger skills.

Tip would be to rebind the keys. There is no hard and fast rule and there is even a comprehensive key binding listing that you can edit.

The keys Q, E, R F, Z, C, Ctrl and Alt are all very usable keys for rebinding. My personal use for the outlier keys is for brooch (F7), Pet or random toggle (F8), Mount (F9), 2 pots (F10 & F11), Noct (F12). These items are usually used when you don't have to turn the camera anyway so you can afford to move your right hand up.

I will show you what I have in a moment... and here we go.

So as you can see I have all my important skills where I can reach it, then changed the opposite side to E, R, T, Q, X, and V. C is my chain skill button instead of my spacebar and how my keys are set up really work for me. ` is my buffs because when I'm in DFNM, CW or KC, the "use a battle solution!" blocks my buffs and bar entirely so I have it set up where I click `, then c because I have it triggered to cast the next buff. E, R, T and Q are closest to my W,A,S,D keys and X is closest to my C key, used for chains. If you're wondering why my iframe is on V and not purify, it's because over the course of re-leveling this character, I got used to the iframe being on V and I can't seem to undo that mental image.

My extra items/skills do not have hot keys at the moment, because I was planning to add them when I get a better keyboard and mouse... but I think I might add them to my numpad buttons. And finally I have all my trigger skills chained to the next one I would normally use because in the dark, I can't see my keyboard and I have to memorize where all the buttons are, so I find that the trigger skill helps me the most.

Trying to find T for kaia's shield in CS and you accidentally click lullaby, then you freak out that you can't find the button and now you're opening your inventory, and then you finally click the button to realize half your party died trying to get into the anchorstone room, it's a real pain in the ($%$$!. So yeah, I hope you understand what I mean, lol.

Oh, I also forgot to mention, if you're wondering where some of my other skills are, the iframe is chained to fiery escape for 7 seconds, so I have time to use it again either immediately or a while after. This bar is for pocket heals, I have one for CS PVP, CS/FWC/Gridon Pocket Protection, Open-World DPS and a bar for sit.sit.sit.sit.sit.sitting players.

Z is whisper because I get a lot of those when making deals. Oh and you might also be wondering "what about your divine stuff, guardian thingy, and nulify whatsa-ma-hoose-it", I normally just have my cursor hovering in the area so when it's needed, I go into UI mode while im running and click it.
