Dungeon Runners Elite Issues

Why are the more experience players that have played through the game over an over so inconsiderate about those that have not doing it for the first time questing? I'm just saying...I'm just saying there is more to the game then just grinding dungeons to quick leveling. Players should have patience with people doing quest in the dungeons. It won't kill a player to sit there for 3 minutes while someone is doing a timed portion of the quest in a dungeon. Necromancers Tomb and Golden Labrynth are good examples of this issue.

So here is a question for those that do not have the patience to wait for the quester. Should we suggest that extra quest portions be removed from the dungeons so that the dungeon itself is the quest in whole?

I personally find it rude and ill mannered to rush ahead disregarding the new questers doing a dungeon for the first time. Maybe they want to experience Tera in its fullness.

At the same time, it's also rude to expect them to wait. It's IMS, there is no agreement to doing story quest (or stalling around) when you click the button. This is why I think they should just be removed or solo versions re-done for the quest. If you have a secondary objective that doesn't involve completing the run then solo it, or lfg it.

Did you say something about doing the quest? Did you ask if any of them might help/wait?
  • Most people levelling are people who already have many lv65 characters and have seen it all before, they are accustomed to rushing content.
Best bet is to form an LFG or ask at the start of an instance matched DG if they would be interested in doing story content (this does work, I've done it before) I have never been forced to solo a dungeon for story.

Oh and 1 more thing, don't judge the population by one run. If you get some rushers then just do the dungeon again and see if you get more patient people.

i still level all the time these days and will happily wait and help with protect/escort quests, even if i don't bother to do them myself these days. the only issue is when the person who needs the quest doesn't say a single thing... like we aren't gonna know if you don't speak up, which is gonna result in having the rest of the group run off.

this game has always had a playerbase that's suffered from a terrible lack of communication (whether it's from shyness or apathy, i could never tell). you'd be amazed how far a "could you help me with this quest please?" can go.
  • A lot of good points here. From my observations, in these two dungeons specifically. Through instance matching anyway, I have seen plenty that assist to do the quest or even saying help with the quest in those round about ways, have been denied them. Sure they can ifg it, some will IF they have a clue about the ifg feature to begin with. Even then waiting around for people your level sometimes can be hard to find. Almost as long as it takes to do an instance matching and even then a lvl 65 will ask volunteer to carry them through. I've done that myself. I know what it's like to wait around like that. What other options do we have to consider for suggestion.
    1. is removing in dungeon questing all together.

I think it would be rather beneficial to both sides, questers and levelers.
Considering how much work bhs or eme would actually be willing to do to do something that would assist in making the experience less toxic for a new player.

I think the above number might be the best solution to that one problem.

You have a third option, join a guild and ask for thelp to your guildies.

    That works even better.
  • That's true also. That ofcourse is pending on the players activity level too. What if they work a lot and can't actually get in a guild that works on their schedule?

Then they need to find one that is active when they play. I imagine most servers have guilds that cater to every time slot (and if not, it might be worth it to restart on another server).

I always help low levels as long as they let me know first. Other wise I will have no idea you have to tell me before hand. I had one in liliths keep, no binds, no crystals and i stuck with them to the end so they could learn

like some have said. some of us have 65s and dont want to wait for 3 minutes. if you miss out on the exp from mobs/bosses. that is on you. 3 minutes is a lot of time. especially if it is unannounced that you are doing the quest.
  • Guys...this is a general discussion. It's not about ME. Read the words correctly please. I have 2 level 65, 1 in full slaughter 1 in full guile. Working on a third almost there by a few levels. Again it's not about ME. I'm a returning player. I was here when Valley of Titans server was still up. Please read it correctly before commenting or making assumptions.

    It's about you.

You are talking, you are complaining, you are suggesting.
