    i was gonna comment how lulzy it was that you running with traps made you form a general opinion of a set of classes until i realized that running with traps as well made me bitter towards DPS on a whole

    (tip for u tho, flirt with your healers before the run to get special attention in battle. always works ;) )
  • I find double heal very helpful when you're learning a dungeon.. or teaching one of the healers.
    Never thought in my life I would enjoy playing a mystic as much as I do, and I think it is my favorite class today.
    I was so nervous healing RMNM/LKHM the first time and I wanted a priest with me first times... now it's cakewalk solo healing it, nothing could be easier.

    But you know what I say? Each to their own. You're a DPS/Tank/Healer and you don't want to run with two healers? So don't.
    And don't meddle in other peoples opinions..

    Pls. Trap dps make the run go on forever but with a non trap healer, you could at least clear it by tossing bodies at the boss. A trap healer on the other hand, if the rest of the party is good enough and doesn't take hits you can clear but if they take a ton of hits with a trap healer, they dead.

    Moreover lets not pretend healz job aren't an easy lazy [filtered] class that literally walks to dodge in/out. So many trap healz clear skilled or don't even bother to learn all the mechanics cuz they don't have to except for the ones that require a cleanse. Anyone could literally roll a priest in this game its laughably how easy the learning curve for that class is in order to be adequate.

    Its easier to carry a trap healer than it is to carry 2-3 carpets.

    I've had 30+ minute Lach runs, the point was with bad dps you can clear it, just very slow. Where as a bad healer will just be dead the entire time, and good luck finishing the run with the forced damaged/debuff and her self buff.
  • I think it's because of security. People generaly don't like sinking 30-50 minutes of their time into grinding something if it's not quick and guaranteed. I think double heals guarantees a clear with an LFG party that you may not be 100% faithful in. None the less - it's also easier as a DPS to split off and eat a mote on the side just incase thing's go bad. Mistakes happen and sometimes the stagger/laser's are a bit pesky with desyncs.
