Can Anyone answer a few Lunar Dancer Questions?? <3
Hey everyone!
First of all, I'm sorry if I'm posting something that has been asked multiple times already - especially back when the Lunar Dancer was first announced. But I've googled and youtubed and can't find the answer myself, so I figured I'd ask you lovely folks!
1). Is this class a Tank, DPS, or another Tank/DPS Hybrid?
2). Is there something unique about this class that I'm missing, or are their animations and style basically Berskers 2.0. What I mean is that I know the abilities are completely different, but all the other new classes that came out from the Reaper onward have all been really unique. But from the few videos I've found online the Lunar Dancer's abilities look really boring/recycled. Is there something I'm missing here? (I hope so!)
3). Based off previous releases, when do you guys guess the Lunar Dancer will be released for NA?!?
Thanks so much for Reading!!

2. it has an "edge-like" system similar to warriors.
3. prolly mayish
2) Slayer 2.0, not even close to Berserker.
3) Estimate 3 months +/- 1 month
Yeah, saying Slayer 2.0 is basically the same point i was getting at by calling it Beserkers 2.0 - it's recycled crap vs. something unique. Idk, I'll still try it but definitely not as hyped for this as i was for the Gunner, Brawler, and Ninjas.
Actually this is the general idea.
EME just need to think really good how to implement things faster gradually and get that 2 months of diference.
I bet downtime can be shortened even more if rest of the servers were converted to PvP65!
2) Actually people think it looks more like a Slayer, because of that one skill that looks just like Overhand Strike. You probably were mistaken into thinking it looks like a Berserker because of their Cyclone-like spin they do, however it is much closer to a Warrior than anything else.
Lunar Dancer's damage mainly comes from 1 (in fact, 2, I'll get back to it and list the other one anyway) skill(s), that use Lunar Scars. Just like a Warrior's Edge, hitting anything will generate Lunar Scars on your target, for a maximum of 7, after which you can use:
-Takemymoon skill: high cooldown, does craptons of damage (as high as twice an Archer's Thunderbolt), always crit, 2-hit skill
-Burstyboom skill: low cooldown (and no cooldown when used with 7 Scars), good damage, high crit and does as many hits as there are Scars on the target.
The rest of their skills are basically filler, used for their Scar stacking.
Another unique aspect of Lunar Dancer is the use they have of their energy bar. Unlike Gunner's, Brawler's and Ninja's, the sole use of it is to activate a 30 seconds buff, Red Moon, that increases their power, attack speed, attack range and cuts cooldown by 60%, along with resetting most of already existing cooldowns. Any hit you land contributes to generating this lunar energy, Burstyboom is especially good at it. With the high cooldown of Takemymoon and if you're not under Red Moon, Burstyboom will be the way you'll use your Scars. However, under Red Moon and its cooldown reduction, Takemymoon's cooldown can go as low as 9 seconds.
As a TLDR, you'll want to go under Red Moon the fastest you can, then dish out the maximum Takemymoon possible before the 30s are up, then rinse and repeat. Like I said all other skills are filler for Scar and Lunar Energy generation (even if Burstyboom is worth mentioning on its own, carrying strong damage itself. There's this one other skill too that does a lower amount ... let's call it ... Throwycrashy ... ? ah well).
Every time you hear a detonation sound and seven hits within a second, that's Burstyboom. Every time you see 15mil damage over, that's Takemymoon. The Red Moon buff is unmissable, yielding red burning flames at the bottom of the screen when in use. The color of the animations also go to red when under the buff, notably the Cyclone-like spins.
3) Some reliant people @Noesis from @counterpoint already answered.
God sake somehow my first post was deleted, had to retype the entire thing ><.
Going out on a limb seeing so much dmg done by them that they are in +15 gears along with the 20 crit inner Armour.
Why not Quatrefoil or Marrow?
Also LAndsheart jewellery.
Yeah I am having one on CH with full 16 lvl 65 chars, I am scratching my head lol
