Are people botting Mongos?
I'm on Fey Forest but I'm wondering if people are doing this across servers as well.
I don't really have any proof of it apart from the fact that certain uncommon mongos are particularly easy to guesstimate where they'll spawn and I keep seeing random characters (mainly reapers) around those areas and they'll be there for several hours. They auto attack all the mobs in close area and are there everytime I go by on my farm routes. I really have no way to tell if they're legitimately botting but like I said they only auto attack in a vicinity and I never see them leave.
Additional Remarks: Botting was fairly common in the last mmo I played to the point that it was obvious but I haven't really seen anything suspicious in Tera in the 2 years I've played. I know that people usually set the bots up to target and attack anything within a set range, which is again, cause for my suspicion.

Set on your outlaw skill and kill them, then get that place to your self to hunt mongos.
Oh, sorry, i forgot that PvP is death and even with this event the so called PvPers don't show themselves not even in raids.
I know what you mean, e.g. the WoW farming bots. So far, I couldn't see any noticeable farming bots in Tera. There were laughable node farming bots (not really bots), but BHS/EME put a level wall again this. You now can farm higher nodes only with higher level.
I highly doubt that you've seen a bot. A reaper has an effitive range of .. 12m (?) and placing it in one spot is quite useless. If it were a bot, I'd expect a loot mechanism with a moving mechanism. As we don't have tab target to support the bot, you'd see a bot moving along defined routes, auto-attacking and looting. Even feeding the loot pet would make it hard to use one on a bot.
All in all, I believe you've seen a real player who was using a maco to autoattack (which is also some kind of automatism), but no real thread/botting.
Speaking about bot, there are some bots or application that makes your characters doing stuff without actually "being" a bot.
Although you may use those "bot", but once your Kyra's filled in your inventory, it wont looting anymore since you have to use that catalyst individually. It is however, it's possible to use some sort of commands that can make that bot to use Kyra and keep going though.
You also forgot that PvP is lvl 65 only and some zones don't even allow PvP.
However it's rarely worth the effort since mongo doesn't drop catalyst that often, and all other rewards are untradable. Some ppl might set them up to farm strong bravery/strong canephora for their own use, but it won't affect the market. You're, of course, free to report them with video proof.
