Casual End-Game Goals?

I'm more fond of leveling, but that's so easy now it looks like I'm going to have to participate in end-game activities, but I'm confused by what I should be working on?

I like PVP, so any advice on what I should be trying to earn and spend those earnings on would be appreciated? I like running dungeons, so again, any advice on what I should be trying to earn and spend those earnings on would be appreciated? I am not hard-core, and don't expect to ever earn "the best" gear, but I'm confused by so many tokens and enchantment items and whatnot that I would appreciate some guidance.

Thank you.

For pve go for slaughter then guille if you can afford. Ambush is the best. For pvp if you're doing equalized bgs you don't really need any gear besides the right crystals, so look up a guide for your class and see what crystals they recommend. If you want to do unequalized pvp, slaughter and guille have some pvp stats mixed in, but conflate is the best pvp set.
  • Mmm, I wouldn't have any specific information to share with you when it comes to PVP, but I can give you some ideas by telling you what I do at end-game. I'm also very casual when it comes to gear progression, I spend most of my gold on random collectibles, mounts and pets than on enchanting material or other items that are similar to that. I achievement hunt by completing achievements I know that I can currently complete on the extra time I have not completing guild quests, as well. I normally enchant my gear with gear, so I end up selling most of my materials, and it only took me 1 to 2 months to get my Guile weapon and armor to +12, while my boots and gloves are sitting at +7 and +2 (because of this I have an ilvl of 417, so I've unlocked most dungeons). I've dedicated my earnings to helping new comers, so a lot of my gold is used for other plays than myself.

I can give you some information on how enchantment items work in TERA, but everyone has their own method on the best way to get your gear. I will let other players help you with that information.

    Enchanting Items
    (T9) Tier 9 = Slaughter
    (T10) Tier 10 = Guile
    (T11) Tier 11 = Ambush

T9/T10/T11 Master Enigmatic Scrolls: Used for specific tier'd gear that matches the number of the MES. To use it, place either your weapon, armor, boots or gloves into your inventory. Right-click the MES, then left-click your equipment. This will make a window appear where you change try to masterwork the item or change the rolls (this only works on +9 equipment). (You cannot masterwork jewelry.)

T9/T10/T11 Spellbind: Used for rolling randomly generated bonuses for your weapon. This is best to be used after you've masterwork'd your equipment (to +9 MW). To use, follow the instructions for the Master Enigmatic Scrolls, then left-click a golden roll you like to keep, then re-roll the other rolls you want to change. (You should click List on this window to show what golden rolls will help benefit your game play experience.)

T1 ~ T11 Feedstock: It's made for you to enchant your gear along side certain alkahest. To use it, open your enchanting window (default [ T ]) and chose what equipment you want to enchant from your inventory or character profile window.

T1 ~ T11 Alkahest: This is found at General Merchants, Specialty Merchants and some times drops (T1~T5 only drop). This is used to get your equipment from +1 to +9 before you would masterwork the item.

Masterwork Alkahest, (Personal or Regular) Rare Alkahest, (Personal or Regular) Extensive Alkahest: Used after you masterwork your equipment to get it from +9 to +12. Normal alkahest will not work for this enchanting procedure. They are used in the same enchanting window as the feedstock and other alkahest.

Semi-Enigmatic Scrolls: This is for re-rolling jewelry only. Right-click the Semi-Enigmatic Scroll and then the jewelry in your inventory. (This works on Rings, Earrings, Brooches, Necklaces and Circlets.)

Re-sizing Kits: To use, right-click on the item, then on one of your jewelry (there are different kinds of kits and made for different jewelry). This will add an additional healing skill stat as well as improve your the benefits of the item. It will not "randomize" any options you've put. (Only works on T10 PVP/PVE jewelry. This being Manor, Estate, Blubred, and Landsheart.)

Blessed & Noble Enigmatic Scrolls: Increases or guarantees the chance of masterworking your equipment than using Master Enigmatic Scrolls.

If you're casual or hardcore the first thing you want to do is join a guild. This game is really as much fun as the people you play with. From there you can decide if you want to pvp or pve.

For pvp if you don't plan on being competitive you don't need pvp gear since battlegrounds are equalized, so get a low tier pve set which can be used for both. Proper crystals are mandatory for pvp you will get kicked out for not having the right ones.

For pvp credits earned the enchanting bonza boxes are probably what you want to spend them on which give you materials to enchant that can be sold or used. The badges are used to make gear/jewelry. And most of the other stuff is materials for making the best gear.

Tera's Pve is evil \o/ no advice for that.
