Hoping for a grand finale tonight

Today is the last day of the mongo's event and I for one am hoping for a grand finale. I know there is no twitch stream but it'd be an amazing send off to have another event like Friday's and I think it'd make the community happy. Friday's event seemed to please nearly everyone and I think it'd be an amazing way to end the event without too many people being upset and angry.

    apparently there is some legend, it goes that a person somehow got a dragon from scales, most of the details are shrouded in mystery however

    my understanding is
    50 scales -> 1 claw (100% chance)
    8 claws -> 2 claws (100% chance)
    is there something I'm missing?

    Well I had gotten lot's of Claws * never won a dragon that way* but low and behold last night I opened my Egg:
