I would like to point out it's improbable to receive hate for simply playing Elin this often as a single individual, when you factor in that a large number of people are playing Elin themselves. It makes no sense for just a single person to experience this often when there's many other targets as well, yet they don't experience it. You're more likely to receive negative attention from the class you choose, or the gear for said class, than the gender/race of the character.

i mean i hate elins, i dont go out of my way to insult people but i hate elins overall, not to mention the larger % of toxic players themselves are elins.

You do hate elins? Lol why?
  • For the record, there's nothing wrong with roleplaying. We are playing a roleplaying game.

Talking about CH, you still hear ppl complaining about roleplaying. In a MMO*RP*G. In a RP server. Weird enough.
Like, I don't, not often alas, but what's the matter? Some ppl just like to burn till the top 5 star dng every patch, get best gears and brag about it in Velika, then afk or leave till next patch. It's legit. Sad, but legit. But someone else may want to find out the social side of the game as well b4 getting 50+ RMH clears and fade out.
  • I don't think it matters where you go in life or even a game, there is always going to be a person or group of people that are just plain going to be toxic for lack of anything else but their own satisfaction at the expense of others. That being said I usually just totally take it for what it is and move on. Being a female and playing female characters I have yet to really run into any issues in the years I have played this game. It can get annoying that's for sure but don't let it drag you down and ruin your fun either.
  • As for erotic role-play, there is nothing wrong with it, and given the nature of the graphics and some of the suggestive text in game it should have been expected by potential players, at least the older ones at any rate. That is a separate issue though

Mm yes, scantly clothed deva's in thong bikini's. The NPC dancer at the Castanica bar, that practically invites you for some "fun". Sometimes npc's throughout mainly female will hint at "It". Yes the eroticism is in the air for "It".

On that note, I feel from my perspective there are 4 different types of players: Overly Serious, Serious, Casual, Don't Give a "it".

The Overly Serious, will take every jab at them, even from players playing the same gender locked class, as an insult especially if it's vulgar. (Something to laugh at if they are also playing a female.) I said female because that is where the discussion is basically geared on. They Overly serious will not only ignore everyone they can, they will also block every salty person on chat. Report every single invulgarity. (Which is morally correct.) The act like the character they play is an actual extention of themselves too. They to can be salty or full of "sugar".

The Serious Player is more about the actual game itself. (Making guides, finding each and everything there is to know about the game and share it professionally *IE Essential Mana)

The Casual players generally are the nice type. "They are just playing a game." They pay no mind to anyones insults, Just kind of laughing at them. The are the study type, learning the game even on end game, the immerse themselves in learning their class and reading guides. They would do so more than participate in "community" social aspects.

The Don't give a "it". Nothing matters but their own personal fun and enjoyment, (often at the expense of OPP). =Toxicity.

EnMasse knows the global chat can be very toxic sometimes. They also know that the "open chat roleplay" can be a bit vulgar and out of place.

I think it's safe to assume based on the graphical details, that BHS would also have expected this to happen. If anything encouraged it.

why should i not? they stand awkward, they run awkward, they sound annoying, they have some of the most ridiculous animations, they get packed with so many innate buffs and always get favored by the devs and forced onto us due to another region that is currently complaining about the whole genderlock issue etc, yes ktera players do complain about it anf get ignored as well. on top of all those reasons, people say they rather make a female as they rather stare at a females [filtered] on their screen, but to me thats pathetic, go get a woman in real not some pixelated fantasy char in a game also i guess thats why quite a few people make love to the floor in dungeons cuz they are too busy watching their char than the boss, plus i like my chars to look like me, its my way of immersion, so i try to get all my chars to look like me at some point in my life, its my way of putting myself into the game world of tera. not to mention as i said before the majority of toxic players in the game are elins.
